I bought a 2 terabyte version thinking that that would be enough, but nope, ran out of room fairly quickly. This 5 terabyte for $94.99 at the time (yes, I know, I just missed the deal of the day at $89.99 the day prior) was a good buy.

Fairly quick drive. I actually bought two for game consoles, and they seem to be working fairly well. No noticeable difference between an internal drive and this one, so that’s nice. Got it on sale for under triple digits also, so I can’t complain.

I needed extra memory for my Playstation 4 and after doing some research i found this hard drive. It was also on sale so i got it for around 120 with the geek squad protection which was a good deal in my opinion.

I am currently using this drive in my Apple Mini as a TimeMachine backup. I have more then enough room for backup.

Needed one of these last minute for a feature film render. Stored project and render files on it afterwards to take work on the go with me. It's quick and does what it's supposed to I reccomend!

Hefty data for the price. I purchased this during the Cyber Monday sale and was very pleased on the price. Drive runs great for backing up a massive amount of data. Small and compact. No issues yet!

I've been using WD drives for quite a while now, and I am really happy with the reliability, dependability, and build quality. I needed a large capacity drive for my backups, and this was on sale at BestBuy when I bought it; PERFECT !

Plug it in and it works. Fast enough to transfer media files on the fly after editing. Works thru Anker 7 in 1 USB C Hub with other devices connected with out any problems.

I use this to backup my Synology NAS. It's a really good device. I might use a bigger one eventually but this does work fine for what I use it for. It also holds files too, obviously. But I just use it for backup!

I've been isn't this drive as a Time Machine backup drive for my MacBook Pro. I didn't mind reformatting it and really like that it's bus-powered (USB) so I don't have to plug it into anything other than the laptop. Quiet and reliable so far.

These drives work very well with my laptop, no external power supply required, small form factor with good transfer speeds. I would definitely recommend them. Very reasonably priced on sale. Around $100.

So far so good. Had a couple of HD’s die on me very quickly and lost stuff that I’ll never get back. Trying a different brand. Backs up every night and was easy to set up. All that I have backed up now has taken up 1 of the 5 TB.
