Tons of space. Love that it’s powered by USB; hate that it’s a special cable (I always lose them and have buy another one, instead of use another common one I already have).

I like this. I use it for my photos and family tree/family history files. It's freed up space on my desktop and I feel confident that it will be able to hold ever more as my family tree information grows.

It's quite heavy but very reliable. I used to use Seagate drives from Costco but they were terrible. Even with little use, the Seagates would fail after a year. I bought four of these and they are still running after a few years.

For the last 2 years I have been using the smaller easy store WD drives. I use to purchase the desktop version however this save me a lot of space as the number of drives I purchase increases.

very good component to keep your files safe and have a good backup

so far so good.. I bought this for my new pc that had a 1tb ssd.. I wanted something that could hold family photos and music. This way i could take it from pc to pc throughout my house if i wanted to or didnt have a flash drive handy.

I had a lot of photo's and videos to remove off my desktop to free up space, still have more room to add more and freed up a lot of space too.

Best purchase I ever made. I learned my lesson after a major computer crash last year. I do backups on a regular basis.

I bought it around black friday it is under $100 which is a great value. I received the drive and started downloading material in it right the way. It works great so far with speedy download but for some reason, it would give out a small low clicking sound once a while. It doesn't bother me much. My only complaint is the USB cable that comes with the drive is a bit too short.

I have 15 external hard drives as hard to believe as that sounds. I started off with another brand but after an issue, I switched to WD hard drives with #7 and have never regretted that decision. They're great!

Best storage ever very fast and very easy to use. If you have sensitive files, this will be the safest way to save them.
