A solid choice for an external hard drive. I've had it for 9 months and no problems so far, so hopefully it won't crap out on me. Although, almost all drives do at some point so be careful!

This is my backup storage for my PS5. Just in case I need to download another game that my internal storage might not have space for. It works exactly how it was intended to.

A whole heck of a lot of space for under a 100 bucks. Using it to backup files from multiple hard drives sitting around. Substantially lighter and quicker then these portables were even just a few short years ago. Can't go wrong.

This is my second 5tb hard drive. I take it everywhere I go. Impressed with size and amount of data its capable of storing. I do not have to multiple hard drives now since I purchased this one. I was able to consolidate my data and reduce the weight in my book bag.

Lot's of storage at a great price! I like the Chesterfield store. It's easy to get to and the staff is always GREAT! Amanda took the time to explain how to use this and even set 1 aside for me. Awesome service!!!!

Great harddrive. Easy to use. Needs no power cord.

I needed extra storage device to connect to my NAS. This was a better way for me to have duplicate storage to connect to other devices without going/using the cloud option. Trusted WD since the 80's.

This drive is our daily backup and since we live in forest fire country it is ready to leave with us at a moments notice. Being big i holds everything from pictures, videos, and music to Norton backup files.

Excellent amount of storage space to hold everything I needed to have backed up and taken off my computer. Now I won’t ever lose any more documents, pictures, videos or secured memories.

great device for ps5 yes its slower than the ssd but not buy enough diffrence to go wasting $$$$ at all; you can play ps4 games directly of the drive; dont waste money on the ssd at all;

For bulk data storage and backing up files, this is just about the only external hard drive you'll need. She's not as fast as them SSDs but she'll get the job done.

Small, light, worked properly. I am satisfied. My only issue is that it appears to use SMR technology which gives me slower writes than I would prefer to see. However, as far as I can tell, no one makes a CMR drive of this size and form factor.

This Portable hard drive is a perfect fit for my PC needs

This is my 2nd 5Tb unit and I expect the same results. I own plenty of hardcopy games. My plan is to put all my games on these hd. With separating by VR, action, and family fun, I can't wait. Great price does what I need.

Got this as a replacement for an older drive my mom used to store family photos on PC. Much faster read/write speed, and will probably see a lot of use in the future
