Way smaller than I expected (I'm used to the old desktop sized drives)! Works great--seems like decent USB throughput, although I haven't benchmarked it yet. Love that it is powered through USB--that also was unexpected!

Fast transfer and easy storage of data, with convenient size

This was a gift for my son who needed extra storage for his computer. He is happy with it and it was on sale!

Bought this for our daughter and son in law so they would have more storage for all the photos we take of their adorable son, our grandson! Small/Compact to fit in small places.

Great little drive. Easy to use. Great to protect from ransomware and drive crashes.

Actual storage size is greater than 4TB but a few GB less than 5TB. The footprint of the drive fits comfortably fon my desk and the drive speed is faster than I had expected since it is a mechanical drive, not a SSD. I would make sure at least a USB 3.X port is available on you computer since USB 2.0 would be significantly slower.

This works out perfect for storing the files I want to be separated.

overall i give it 5 stars. it did the job. It freed up space on my computer and phone and has tons and tons left over for my art do recommend it.

Purchased to move files from my mac. For Mac users, it is important to read the instructions or look them up. However, very glad with my purchase. It was a great price for the amount of space.

This is a great external HDD. This one reads pretty fast. I needed to save lots of pictures and videos into this hard drive and it was able to transfer them in about 40 minutes. I previously used my brother's external HDD before and that took around 4 hours for the same files. His is a different brand and had worse reading and writing speeds compared to this one. Since it's an HDD, I don't recommend it being used by students who have to take it with them everywhere due to it having a spinning disk. Getting bumped and/or dropped will make it slower and can break it. But if you only need it to store other files and it's sitting on a desk or in a box for storage, then this is perfect for that!

It is great for what i purchased it for. Holds a great amount of games for my xbox, and it is quiet while it is running.i never notice the light turn off, so I am not entirely sure if it ever shuts down. I don't know how I feel about that. But still an overall great external hard drive. And great for the price.

This is a very easy hard drive to work with. I didn’t have any problem with it at all. I would recommend this to anyone because of its ease of use and capacity to contain all of your important files.

Not much to say about this other than it's pretty much plug and play. Bought it for a Macbook, had to format it for compatibility, and that was about it.

Great device for my PS5 and at just the right HD size and price to hold all of my games. I was surprised at how small the HD was too as it fits right behind my PS5 without being seen.
