I have only been using this for a few mo ths but it has excelled at storing photos. I back up all my photos every other month and i have had no problems so far.

So far so good. Lets face it. The measure of these things is how long they last. We will see. The small size is nice. Only one cord for data and power is nice. Speed is sufficient.

Upgraded from 2tb. Nice to not see my capacity have a whoooole bunch more room to flourish. I really with these came with some kind of adapter cable so you could plug them into sata ports on the mobo. Ease of use get 3 stars because the software that came with the drive will not install for me.

I like to buy these to backup my computers and iPad. Storage seems to go up and priced drop as time goes. I usually will try and purchase when they come up for sale.

I love these 5TB External drives. When on sale you can't beat the deal. So far I have 5 of them and they have proven to be reliable. The oldest one is about 2 years old.

Works as intended. Lots of storage. It is what it is. A good hard drive. No noise. Would get another WD

Purchased on Jan. 2nd to use as Back Storage of my Desktop PC. Working Flawlessly so Far. Found it on sale for $99 which I think is an awesome deal for 5TB storage. Highly Recommended

This external hard drive is awesome. So small and compact, perfect for my needs. It is quiet and quick. I love how there is no need for a power supply like my old external HD.

I couldn’t get a PS5. I got this instead and a bunch of PS4 games. I installed 20 games and still have a lots of room left. This is a steal in Black Friday sales. It has fast loading time.

Needed to upgrade my storage and this is exactly what I was looking for. It’s pretty self explanatory. If you need more space, wait till there’s a sale for it.

I buy these when they go on sale .I have bought multiple WD easy store hard drives of various sizes and have not had any issue with any of them yet. These seem to be good hard drives for a low price

Using this as my external in my new laptop with SSD. Went with the 5TB, not so much because I need that much space, but because the price was right!! This worked perfectly from the start.

Great external that has plenty of space for all your family files plus your neighbors as well. Plug it in and clear space on your laptop or desktop.

I am using this unit as a backup unit for my Synology system. It is easy to use, plugged in and you are all set. The plastic casing makes durable. So far no issues.

Good price for external HDD - I suppose my hope is that spinning/platter drives are becoming more a thing of the past, but it's nice to see them AT LEAST come down in price. It was good for some movie project storage. I only buy these when they're on a good sale.
