Picked this up on a Deal Of The Day promo, I already have a couple smaller versions. They have been very reliable as additional storage space for backing up data, pictures and media.

Works great, easy to setup and plug in. I've had no problems with it and have had it for a couple months now.

It might not be the highest number of storage space but it sure will last you awhile. I think it is a little faster than the other brands too.

This came with excellent deal and it is good option to store my data.And I always like WD, I have no issues with it. I am an average user for data. I dont fill 5TB every day or week.

Excellent extra storage. It connects to the USB port and needs no other power connection. It is 5400rpm so it is not fast, but makes up for it with the amount of storage provided.

I use this to expand the storage of my PS4. I can now download as many games as I'd like without having to worry about low storage space becoming an issue.

I'm using this as an external drive for my Playstation 4. It was easy to connect up to the PS4. It was also a lot smaller than I expected, and doesn't require external power, either.

I got one of these for my parents and one for myself for backing up important files, apps and pictures. Got it for 50% off during cyber Monday even and it was worth the $90. I am not sure if I would spend $180 for it when you can buy a 6T internal for the same price. On sale, though, good buy.

Transfer is quick and doesn’t heat up like my previous other brand hard drive , price is also very reasonable

I ordered this for its value, but the quality is nowhere near as good as my WD MyPassport. Three times I’ve had to format it to my Mac, and all 3 times there have various issues- missing files (huge deal since I’m a photographer), unable to eject, desktop duplicates, software not responding, etc.. Maybe it’s an iOS thing, who knows, but I specifically bought this one because I’m aware of Mac formatting issues with other external hard drives. If I hadn’t spent so much time googling, crying, shouting profanities, desperately trying to get it to work properly, I wouldn’t have missed the return deadline... and that’s exactly where it would’ve gone, right back to the store. I’ll give it whirl on my M17R4, but if it still gives me trouble I’m going to take it out back and joyfully show it a proper Office Space demise.

Very happy with this recent purchase, I had a smaller 1TB WD backup device and it was all full, this replacement should provide allow me to the room I need.

This is a great compact storage solution. File transfers are fast with USB 3.0. I like that it is so compact, so tiny. And I love not having to worry about running out of disk space.

Great backup device for all your pictures and videos. Price is low compared to the large storage. No need to mess with multiple devices due to storage capacity. This one stores it all.
