Love the ssd very portable handy good size capacity to back up document, pictures files or back up the whole computer. I use it for backing up storage for my multiple computers it’s plug and play faster than usb2 was going to by the ssd with usbc but way to expensive this was a better option. Has backup software for automatic backups every night very quite and handy.

It's 5 TB of external storage. Always keep a backup! The performance is good. It's probably a 5000rpm laptop drive but you don't care about that. These are reliable and I've owned a few as XBox/Playstation storage. With games topping over 120GB per title, these do the job. For your PC, this makes a worth wild investment.

Plug and store files, music, and photo's all in one place. I sub divide WD 5TB in to third just in case of corruption. 1/3 for music a 1/3 for back up files and 1/3 for photo's. I watched a YouTube video and follow the set in the video and name the drive according to what I wanted to back up. It's not a personal cloud but it's small and travels well.

Pretty easy setup. Simple plug and play allows the user to expand storage without sacrificing speed. The small form factor fits just about anywhere and is only limited only by the length of the cord that attaches from the external hard drive to your CPU or gaming system. I have purchased half a dozen WD external hard drives in the past 10 years and all of them still performing flawlessly without failure.

Bought this so I don’t have to keep deleting games and re downloading them on my PS4. Now I have all my games including Call of Duty on it. You will have to reformat it when connecting to the PlayStation and I wouldn’t use it on a computer since you might have to reformat it again which essentially will deleting all of its data. All in all just use it for your PlayStation and buy another one for your computer.

This is my 3rd of these portable drives. They’ve proven to be reliable drives which I’ve been using to keep backups of data, photos and video. The drive provides plenty of storage and provides peace of mind knowing I have reliable backups of my information.

A good size hdd. While not a 8tb, 5tb should be enough for most people especially when considering it's form factor. If your like me and buy these every once in awhile you will quickly run out of space to store these drives in a drawer or some other simaler place. It's the main reason I prefer these smaller laptop portable ones over the bigger ones that require a power brick.

The 5TB WD external harddrive is an excellent asset providing additional storage for instructional videos stemming from Zoom presentations generated during the pandemic. Resources were readily located online and employed to assist in using the drive on an iMac. Based on past usage of the brand name product, this drive has so far proven again to be very reliable and was very competitively priced.

Easy to use - so far reliable and faster copy time than other competitor products. Have mostly used to copy personal documents and photos and hope it stays on for sometime. You can either use the software to create back up or directly plug in and copy contents. Worth the price and would definitely recommend a friend. I bought it during a offer but still worth the money

Second time purchasing Western Digitalexternal hard drive. The first time I purchased a 2TB hard drive to expand my Xbox storage. This time I purchased 5TB to backup a computer I'm thinking of replacing just in case the internal hard drive fail. The device can be held in one hand. It's extremely light weight compared to other external drives. It's a simple USB connection to use the device.

It's good for having all your important documents and data backed-up. 5 Tb of Data is very good and great for backing big documents like all your music and mp3 and all your videos and mp4. It includes software for managing your data and backups on PC and Mac.
