I bought this for my Xbox One X. I found out really fast that the 1TB built in hard drive way definitely not big enough. I bought this hard drive due to the reasonable price along with the other good reviews that I found about it. I went on YouTube on my phone to find out how to install it on my Xbox and it was very quick and easy. Works great and now I have plenty of room. Highly recommend.

I've gotten quite a few of the 4TB versions of this, so decided to get this for my wife to store all her pictures/videos on. I've always had good luck with these WD drives. They are perfectly sized and portable. I don't particularly care for the type of cable required for use on these as some of the ports don't seem to allow the cable to connect nice and smoothly. The one I happened to get is fine. That's not really a fault of WD drives though as it's a standard. I can't really find a negative for this little drive. They are great to have handy for quick backups or file transfers between computers or gaming consoles.

Great HDD and best value for my dollar, considering the promo price tag. At twenty bucks a TB, I am very satisfied. Pretty good transfer speeds and reads right off my television or Xbox Series X for quick video / audio file access. Better, faster HDD's out there, but for the value I couldn't find anything that beat this little guy!

Love this drive! Bought this one as a backup for first one purchased earlier this year. Leave it plugged into me TV to look at pictures, watch home movies, and movie collection. Interfaces beautifully with my 75 in Samsung TV. Live the rubber feet to keep it from sliding, very quiet. WD has good warranty.

Great capacity in storage all the documents or games in my PC

Excellent external drives for backup storage on PC or additional room for Console games on PS4 or Xbox One. I have purchased 3 of these drives so far over the course of 3 years and have not had a single issue. I realize that SSD is the future, but you can't beat the price of 5TB storage by choosing one of these drives, especially when they are on sale.

This 5TB external hard drive for my Macbook Pro exceeds all my expectations (works out-of-the-box, no formatting problems, smooth operations and good price point). I tried Costco’s Seagate hard drive (tried and returned THREE times) and was sorely disappointed. I should’ve have stuck with Western Digital as the 1TB drive I have now hasn’t failed me in the five years I’ve had it.

Better value for a large portable drive, yet small enough to take with you. Having a protective carry case can prevent shock to unit is a plus. 5 TB for a 2.5 inch drive provides plenty of space.

i’m thinking this is the one that doesn’t automatically connect with your Apple computer that you have to set it up to but I still love it. It just was time-consuming. If that was the one cause there’s two other others I don’t know which one it was.
