Tiny easystore drives are absolute workhorses. I've had one for over 5 years that has been full to capacity, and have even used one of these things on my media server to handout files. The reliability and durability of these things are astonishing, and the tiny compact form factor, and sleek look truly make it stand out as some of the best portable hard drives to exist.

Got this about a month ago to replace an older and larger 4TB WD drive. So far so good. This is super small and no sound that I can hear. Transfer rates are ok, but I didn't buy it for speed, just need something reliable to store 2 different PCs backups. Being able to plug and play with no power cord is so nice.. this grabs the power off the USB port.

The 3.0 Portable Hard Drive is compact and easy to use and it was a good value.

I have been using this drive for several months for external storage since it offered a large amount of storage for an excellent price. You may see this priced similarly or less compared to the My Passport drives. If you don't plan on using the extra features with the My Passport drive, then you might as well save the extra dollar and get the Easystore.

Item comes as advertised. It's an excellent device to have for long term storage of files that you don't necessarily need at a moment's notice. I am a photographer so an image that might seem important today could matter down the line. The unit is sturdy and works well with my MacBook Pro. I bought this on sale and I have to say that I am getting maximum bang for my buck...

Have used these external HDrives for years for duplicate storage, with pics & videos on them to clear my laptop storage and all are still working like new with absolutely no issues. Very happy

I'm not a tech wizard that can get into the nuts and bolts of the drive. I just know that it's small and light and powered by the USB port. Read/write speeds have seemed to be fine for me and I love having the extra storage space in order to back up by desktop, laptop, and all the miscellaneous USB sticks and SD cards I have laying around. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Very good product and reasonably price. At this time, I'm unable to tell you how quick the data transfer is since my system is still 2.0. I'm sure I'll be extremely satisfied once I upgrade my computer. Great for video and music files. Will continue to purchase this item should my need for additional storage is needed.

I’m a beginner photographer and needed a external drive to put all my files on. I have a few of these storage devices and this one is the smallest in physical size but huge in data size. Plus it has a nice little case to store it in. Works great and I’m loving it. May even buy a couple more of these and transfer all my data from my older bulky storages to these smaller ones.

A lot of space + compact/light. Price was really good too.

It was easy to use little to no difficulties the only negative is that the cord is flimsy.

October 2021, I purchased this WD - Easystore 5TB External Hard Drive for storage when it was on sale from Best Buy. I ran H2testw, a system maintenance and stress testing application, on it. It took over two days, but now I know that EVERY byte on the drive functions correctly. = I liked it so well that I bought three more.

Needed a secondary hard drive to back up music in case the primary one took a bad turn and stop working. Western digital hard drives are pretty reliable and easy to use. Price was fair for its size this is my 2nd 5TB I’ve bought in the last year.

Dependable storage. Small and compact. Very easy to use.

Very reasonably priced and works perfect. Good memory to empty my lengthy videos and files to keep my computer running smoothly and on the same hand keeping a backup of all my computer just in case if something bad happens like my computer crashed after buying this just 3-4 days after. Thank god i had the backup (Time machine and memory) I totally recommend this product

Purchased to connect to ps5 for extra game dl storage. Worked great for a while but then started having weird issues where ps5 eouldnt wake up or always said tlit was shut down incorrectly. I switched to a different one for the ps5 but this one is still working great for media storage on media server.

Best drive I’ve ever purchased! Using as external Xbox storage and even with moving half my console’s game library to the drive I still have about 3T left to still fill with stuff. 10/10 would recommend. Price is 50/50 for being cheap vs expensive for some but if you find it on sale, GET IT!!!!
