Ive always been a fan of WD drives, most of the backup drives I use are WD. They have always been dependable. This was a replacement for an 8 year old 3 TB WD backup drive that was replaced for its age!

Small, light, fast, 5 TB of storage at a great price!!!

This is great and compact drive for adding your photos and digital docs etc to free up space on your computer or phones. I gotit on sale for a steal of a price too totally worth it!

This hard drive was a steal for the price. My husband had been wanting a hard drive to store a lot of his stuff on as his old one was getting full. I had purchased the 2TB of this same brand and really liked it so I bought him this 5TB for Christmas. He was absolutely thrilled with it. Great little hard drive.

This 5TB external hard drive is beast mode! I have so much memory in space I don't know what to do with it plug it into my PS5 now I have download all my ps4 games. Have like 28 games on it and still have well over 4 terabytes of space left over. Easy to use all I had to do is plug it in and that was it.

The Easystore line is pretty reliable. No problem with any of the Easystore drives I own. I use this one for a couple different iTunes libraries and I have no problems accessing and playing digital media. I have a couple I use for back up. These are really decent drives and I wouldn’t hesitate buying another one.

The plug and play was easy enough, but you must install the included software and format the device in order for it to work (at least in a Mac). It was a good, non-expensive choice for me with a 5TB drive.

This portable hard drive is very light weight and easy to handle. It is simple to install and use. I had plenty of room to do an initial backup of my C drive and my Data drive and lots of room for future backups. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend it.

Purchased this to use as a backup and extra storage for my Xbox One. I love that its portable and I can take this bad boy with me anywhere. I have stored over 100 games and still haven't made a dent in the storage. Cheaper than buying name brand Xbox brand. I highly recommend this!

Plugged it into the laptop USB port & it showed right up. Like the size & it holds a lot of movies!

My first unit arrived non-functional. WD Technical Support worked with me to verify the status, then told me to return it to Best Buy. I returned it, and ordered another one. It works great! I use it to backup 2 computers. He backups are quick, and verify properly. Great speed, large storage, and a small footprint.

Very Good Unit all round. Plenty of Capacity. I formatted it easyFat and use it with Windows and Apple computers. It has to be powered via USB and this prevents it from use with iPad using Camera Kit connector. But, I can use a powered USB hub to get around this problem. The unit is very quite in operation. I am still fuzzy and rather nervous as to why I cannot reliably Eject the Unit on Windows (sometime you see ita nd sometime you do not). The reason I am nervous is that if the unit is disconnected with proper eject, I can lose the complete drive - cannot be used or reformatted. This has happened to me several time with such external drives in the past. Wish there was a "guaranteed protection" against this. As of now, I assume the drive is not fortified against that. This is a high risk for me, given that capacity and the backups for which I am planning to use. Barring this, it is a wonderful unit and great value for the under $100 I paid for it.

I use it to store all of the movies and series on my Dish DVR. Easy to use; just plug into your device, format it and start transferring files (movies). Those files are watchable from the storage drive itself, accessible thru the DVR. I purchased the drive on sale for $99 at Christmas. Highly recommend!

5TB Easystore from WB is reliable, and the price cannot be beat! Ended up buying several of these, still the best deal around!

The Western Digital is an choice for people who use Apple Macs at home for their Time Machine backups. It has enough space for long time and multiple backups. It works well automatically. Best Buy had it in stock and was available for curbside pickup during the pandemic. The price was reasonable.

I use these to backup my hard drives and store large sports videos that I don't need to maintain on my computer's hard drive allowing me to free up space on the drives. 4-5TB is ideal for holding two years worth of video files. I've found the Easystore drives to be highly reliable and very cost effective.

I bought the WD easystore 5TB HD at 84.99 during Black Friday sale. I am very happy with this small size large memory portable HD. This HD is using USB to Micro B cable which is the same as the cable for WD MY passport HD. So I can switch cable to access my passport HD.
