Great little external hard drive for backing up everything on my laptop and desktop. The 5 TB is more than enough room and since this is my second one, it's a great insurance backup of my backup. This drive is great. Lots of storage capacity at 5TB. Small size. Reliable. Easy to use. Even with online backups, I still set aside drives for safe keeping. I highly recommend picking 1 up.

I had to reformat this to work with a Macintosh computer, but once I did, it was surprisingly easy to use. I have had no problems with this hard drive, and it has been excellent for data storage.

This Western Digital external hard drive has great storage space 5 TB and the price is unbeatable at $90 only available on Best Buy. The USB 3.0 cable is still compatible with most computers nowadays for fast data transfer even if the latest USB technology is 3.2.

I've used WD drives before, and have always been happy with their performance. So far, this one is no exception. It is compact and speedy. My only complaint is with respect to the cable, which requires a special connector on one end, meaning you have to carry an extra cable just for this unit. Also be aware the the connector is a USB A plug on the other end; you'll need a hub or adaptor if you only have USB C ports.

I have two of these. I have had one for a couple of years and it has worked well to back-up my files and pictures. I recently bought another to serve as a redundant, off premises back-up. Easy to use and no problems so far.

I purchased this external drive to back up for my pictures and videos. With 4 TB it provides ample storage space and for the price. It was a great purchase. Although it’s not an SSD, it works great for me since I will not be moving this this Drive.

We were looking for a large capacity external hard drive to backup two computers each with internal 1TB SSD's so we could move some files into "storage" and clear up some space on both computers. Needless to say, this drive has more than enough capacity and was certainly reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
