The HDD works like it should. I had 2 old HDD that were dying so I got this and it works like a new HDD (imagine that). I like the size, the 5TB is as large as both of my old dying HDDs so it is a push as far as space goes. But now I have all of my files on 1 instead of 2 HDDs.

Using this as a back-up for my Xbox Series X (very easy to plug-and-play immediately), and it's been well-worth it so far. Great amount of storage for the price, and it's a great place to store titles not playing at the moment or not wanting to take up internal storage.

I have been using this for several months now and it works great. I have been using this for files and PC games and it works great. I would highly recommend to others. *Note: I did get it on sale for a nice price.

Small light and plug & play. Amazingly compact, similar to my WD 3TB I bought a few years ago. Not much heavier or bulkier. They could keep the same size and weight, even though with 5TB. WD is always my favorite reliable backup tool.

Bought this for my PS5 to store all my ps4 games just plug and play,and still have plenty of space leftover for cold storage of PS5 games when I'm not playing them. Hard drive is small and easy to tuck away to avoid unsightly cables.

Decided to back up almost 20 years of pictures of me and my wife. Had pictures on three separate hard drives, 10 different cd’s and about the same of 3.5in floppy disks. Transferred all the files over two days and now I have a single disk with our memories. Well worth it!!!!

I have always used WD for external hard drives. I don't even use the hard drives that come on my PC anymore. Everything is run off an external. I even have a back up of a back up. Lightweight & easy to travel with. I would suggest buying a hard case to put it in.

The price is reasonable and the performance is very good. 5 TB dive is compact and quiet yet performs great.

Great mega storage in a small convenient portable drive. So glad to have all of my photos safe! I am not very tech savvy so I had to have a friend help me set it up on my laptop but once he did that it was smooth sailing for me.

it's wondering to have something that is self-powered HD that doesn't take up too much space in a bag or on a desktop. I was glad that I was able to find this HD on sale where they are cheap on the storage size at the time I bought them at.

Great device, Lots of Storage, will have this device and desire to have multiple partitions to run emulators and keep back up IOS's,Tarps, and other various script and source code to test

I use a mini PC with Linux as my main PC. I have five (5) 5TB drives attached to store files. The WD Easystore drive fits this requirement superbly.

Bought this drive a year ago and I really like it. Easy to use and pretty fast. It is nice to have 5T bytes of drive space.

Best bang for your buck and runs smoothly for years. I get one every uear it goes on sale and they have been great for me.

It is easy to use, simple and fast. I like it. For me, a 5 TB drive is the right size of storage. If I need more storage, I will get another 5 TB drive , instead of getting 10 GB one. I bought it when it is on sale; so, that was a bonus.

Great way to store your photos and memories. Easy to use and compact to keep in a safe or other location that would protect your files. Clear out your phone/s and other media by simply transferring the files to this data storage.

I have had this disk drive several months now and it has given me no problems. Just plug it in and it works as advertised. I have always had good luck with this brand and there is no problem now with not having enough storage.
