Kids needed extra storage for Xbox. This device has lots of it. Plug and play. Easy to setup. Fast. Probably would have bought something with less storage if this wasn’t on deal of the day. Happy with purchase. Kids are happy too!

I really like the capacity and the ease of use of this WB - Easystore 5TB External Hard Drive. I plugged it into my USB 3.0 and backed up my entire desk top hard drive and because it is so fast, I look forward to doing it regularly.

I've had it for about a month now and so far everything's great .. i have other hard drives that need to be plugged in so like it that this one powers through the USB .. like the size and got it on sale so it was reasonably priced.

HUGE amount of storage space obviously. Sinple and easy to use. “Plug and play” DEFINITELY recommend to anyone not too computer savy.

I purchased this portable 5TB hard drive because I needed something which I can take with me as I travel. This hard drive is small and has lots of storage space. I even use it as the backup for my network cloud storage (3TB). Works well!

I recently bought a "WD - Easystore 5TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black", for my Mother as a Christmas gift. I put a LOT of Photos, Music, Movies and Books on this drive for her to enjoy. 5TB holds more than you'd expect. Afterwards she still has over 1TB left to use as "Back-Up" for her Laptop if she needs to. I own three WD Easystore drives, 2TB, 5TB & 14TB. I have found them to be very nice. I Lost two Internal Hard drives to "Drive Failure" and now I keep my fav info, books, movies, photos, etc. on many drives. The Easystore drives work great for this purpose. I'm not taking any more chances with my Collections! Small, Lightweight, Portable drives make it easy to use and carry.

Excellent hard drive. Very easy to use and so much space. This is my 3rd Western Digital hard drive over many years and this is just as easy to use as the older versions. I am very glad I purchased another Western Digital product.

This took care of my need for more space on my computer and allowed me to add needed downloads. Connection and integration were as simple as connecting the port to the device and clicking accept.

As usual, my WD external drive purchase is running flawlessly. My last drive, a 1tb MyBook was only beaten when my house literally burned down. I also lost my Passport 1 tb drive. So I replaced them both and upped my storage potential at the same tie. the USB 3.0 makes the file copying a breeze. Setting up the backup software was just as easy. These drives are the most reliable pieces of tech I've ever purchased. The drives I lost in the fire were 1tb drives. That's how long ago I bought them. Worth every cent.

very small for this much storage. when on sale a good value from a well known manufacturer. easy set up. with so many computers having limited memory this is a good idea and good for safety back up

This is one excellent hard drive, it is easy to attach to laptop, holds all the backup data that I need, one of the best features is it is portable so it doen't need and external power source.

I use this external hard drive for my base Xbox One, and so far there have been no issues with either the drive or the games installed on it. This is a good product for anyone wanting to expand their last-generation console or PC.
