I love this hard drive, especially it is a true plug and play. It worked immediately when I first plugged it into my laptop. Furthermore it is very fast. Compared to other sellers this is the cheapest.

This was a great buy it works better then my old one with less space and more expensive.im happy to say I'm satisfied with this purchase i would buy it again and its a wonderful buy at best buy

This was a day after Thanksgiving purchase. This is a great drive at a very reasonable price. Works well with laptops and desktops.

I have always liked WD storage products, and this one is no different. Compact, works perfectly and easy to use.

Works well and am happy to have much more room for backing up photos and other documents. Easy to use once Western Digital cleared up a small glitch with the back up plan. Now it's working perfectly.

I have many of WD's portable drives and none of them have failed me over the years. I expect nothing less from this drive. I have several hundred hours of home video, and it all fits on this one drive - amazing!

Needed to back up years of photos and this I just what I needed it’s simple to use all you have to do is reformat it to mac once you do that is pretty much drag and place love to design small compact durable.

Nice drive. Easy to use. Large storage that I like. Holds everything from my 3 other drives. Hope to not need more space for quite a while. I really like the small size of the unit itself.

For a 5 Terabyte external hdd you can’t beat the pric especially if you’re on a budget and looking for a ton of space for music, movies, or even gaming. It synced to my pc very quickly. I highly recommend.

I’ve been using this external hard drive for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The setup was incredibly simple—just plug and play. It was instantly recognized by my computer and ready to use within seconds.

So far so good. Bought two for storing video recordings for my Plex server. I have no specific requirements for fast reads or writes. Reliable for now and hopefully for a long time.

Bought this to replace a suspected failing external 1TB Seagate drive. A non portable one. This was bought for my parents. I also bought a longer usb3 to usb cable so my parents could use the drive and place it on their computer desk where the old Seagate was. Bought the longer cable from Amazon. Also bought a hard shell travel case for the drive as well from Amazon. My folks now have flexibility to carry drive and original included cable with them in travel case while leaving 3rd party drive cable plugged into pc tower under desk on rear facing usb port on the computer. Easy disconnect and go. Easy reconnect when back home. Pleased with my purchase. Glad I could help my folks out.

Great storage unit. I love the fact that it will back-up my PC and my Mac. I also like the fact that its small enough to take with me everywhere my laptop goes yet still has a ton of storage.
