The 5TB capacity is more than enough to back up all my files and photos. The only thing you have to know is that you have to download some programs (WD Drive and WD Discovery) Utilities from the vendor website and install them on your PC. Otherwise, your PC will not be able to recognize this drive. Other than that, it is working fine and I am very happy with it. Oh, you can also download Acronis True Image for Western Digital software to create an image of your pc. That is a great tool to have.

Solid spinning disk external drive
