I have about 8 of these drives of various sizes from the time when the 1 TB model came out and so far none of them have crashed yet. I use these to plug into my samsung TV and roku box (I have a few of these drives) to watch my saved content. I plays my 4kv video files just fine on my devices. I get about 150 MB transfer rate when moving large files around between this and my new computer.

Great external storage for Windows/MAC

The key is to use the correct format which supports both the systems. It is compact and connectivity is fast as per the specs. The only complaint I have is the disk spinning noise sometimes even when it is not in use.

Recommended for anyone in the market. Allowing you to store your games while not eating up all of the storage space on your Xbox. With this size storage I can store all of my games and still more room available.
