    Needed to backupy files, pictures,and music from my laptop while I performed a refresh on the laptop. Easy to install and the performance was fine. Reviewed several models models and decided on the WD was on sale. Also, have used other WD hard drives in the past with no issues. Once done with the refresh, the laptop easily once again recognized the drive and was able to restore all my files. Easy set up and quiet operation. Planning on using to the WD EasyShare run several VM from it and store utilities.

    This is the Best external Hard drive I have ever bought I have a couple that are 3 years old going on to 4 and they are still running smooth I keep them Hybernating for long term use and bring them out every 3 to 6 months. I love this Hard drive so much I allwasye keep coming back for more then most other Brands.
