I dropped this on a hard floor the first day I bought it. I dropped it again on a hard floor the first time I tried to use it. Finally, I dropped it when I took it back to Best Buy so that their geek squad could transfer three computers worth of information onto it. It is not even 20% full And yet contains all the back up information from three computers including thousands upon thousands of photos. It is doable and just the right size.

Just what we needed. Works great and does what it is suppose to. With so much storage, it will get a variety of work. I would suggest anyone needing storage purchase this one. Great size/price. Happy camper here!

Got it on sale but it's a great hard drive especially at 5tb. Using it to back up my video files and edited content. After a failed cheaper one I decided to get this one. Only down fall is I can't connect it to my iPad directly so I have to transfer those files thru a computer and then on this. Minor gripe if you have decent transfer speeds

The portable hard drive from WD is fantastic. Its massive capacity, solid transfer speeds, and small lightweight design make this a great purchase. I purchased this during the Black Friday deal, so the 5TB version was just $90 compared to the normal $130. I will buy this same external portable hard drive when my current one is full.

Very fast transfers, compared to older external HDDs. Small and convenient, one wire, usbc to usba, clean.

Working well as a backup drive for my Windows computer. Took some time for the initial backup to copy over all the data, but after than the incremental backups are fast (less data to transfer). Slightly smaller footprint than my external USB Seagate drive, but maybe not unexpected as the Seagate drive is older and newer hardware is generally more compact than older hardware. So far it is performing well and I am pleased with the purchase.

This is the second WD Easystore External Drive that I've purchased. The first was for the family's PS4 and it worked beautifully. Plug and play. Literally. This one I bought for additional memory to store GoPro videos on. It was easily formatted for an iMac using the Disk Utility application. Files transfer quickly and are recalled with equal speed. It's a quiet drive that takes up very little space and does the job it's advertised to do.
