Pretty speedy @5400RPM too. I use it to back up media files and this drive does the job. I own several of these Western Digital drives and I've not had any problems.

WD - great storage at a great price

One thing to keep in mind, if using a Mac, please note that the hard drive will need to be configured for use, which is very easy to do and takes minimal time. If using a PC, you can just plug it in and start using right away.
