Good drive, but felt pricey

That being said, this was close to the best value for this size drive I could find at the time (for good brand). This is not the first external drive for me from WD. I have 10+ year old drives still working flawlessly. This seems to be no different in the months I've owned/used it.

Great HDD - very fast

I got it on sale from Best Buy for $90, which is an insane price for a high quality 5TB drive. I use it alongside a typical Seagate external 1TB drive (cost ~ $50) and the WD is at least three times faster to write to. With 5TB available, you can keep all of your video recordings backed up without a second thought.

5TB Hard Drive used for PS5

I have been wanting to purchase an external drive to store information that is taking up space on my phone as well as documents I needed to scan. As always Best Buy comes through with great prices on their Deal of the Day. The price and quality was an immediate reminder to complete a task that was long over due. Thank you Best Buy.
