    The easystore is a handy, dependable, portable storage device. I have a few of these and use them primarily for rotating backups on laptops and long term, offsite storage of images/digital pictures. None of these devices has ever failed. The easystore is plug an play and has easy to use backup software if you wish to regularly schedule backups of any of your data. When traveling, if I plan to do any image editing in off hours I will load the work onto an easystore and pack it in my laptop bag. Best buy frequently offers various Western Digital easystore devices at excellent sale prices

    This drive has exceeded my expectations. It is fast and quiet. It seems very well built. 5TB that fits in your pocket! The only minor nit I might mention is the visibility of the activity LED. It could be brighter, and I would prefer it was on the top or at the opposite end as the cable since usually the cable end is pointed away from me, towards the computer.

    This is a very solid, 4 GB Western Digital external hard drive that allows me to store large quantities of media files that my laptop would not be able to hold. It has a simple USB 2.0 connection that transfers data quickly and easily. I take it with me everywhere in my backpack and always have my files handy

    Worked well right out of the box. Plug and play. As fast as my internal SSD. I use this to back up my PC configuration and all files monthly. I put it in an Apache protective case with a Wisedry silica gel desiccant and leave it in my detached garage. If the house burns I will have my digital life intact.

    I was needing another external hard drive as my previous one broke down (due to heavy use).
