I am using this unit as a backup unit for my Synology system. It is easy to use, plugged in and you are all set. The plastic casing makes durable. So far no issues.

I'm not a first time buyer of the WD External HDD, this is my third WD external hdd, used both portable of one having external power adapter too. So for working good. no issues. Cost wise good as i got it for around 89.99 during thanks giving 2020. Expecting the SSD industry to have chaper disk with greater space.

I have multiple 5TB for Photography, video editing and gaming. Never had a problem, setup is easy and several forms of security and warranty protection make this purchase a no brainer.

So far so good. Already have a smaller one of this brand for backups and decided to buy a larger 5TB. Nice space-saving size and it doesn't need to hog an outlet spot either.

It does the job to store a data. No complaint for this item.

Needed to upgrade my storage and this is exactly what I was looking for. It’s pretty self explanatory. If you need more space, wait till there’s a sale for it.

I've had it about a year now. Still works fine, I rip my movies to it and play them with it connected to my TV or Xbox. Was reasonably priced and holds lots of movies!

Bought these for the kids to hook up to their PS5 and Xbox for extra storage. Kids said they work great and have had no issues

Easy plug and play installation and no compatibility issues.

This is a great storage drive. It is very easy to install and can hold a lot of files on what is a nice and portable device. Files also transfer quickly with it being USB 3.0.

Easy to transport and install. Really easy to export to it my Data from my other one that actually was a wall plug in so this one don’t depend on electricity to be able to work.

This is my third hard drive and for the price you can’t beat it. I have noticed no difference in speeds compared to my wd hard drives so I will probably buy another one when I need it.

I purchased this WD external hdd to use a my game drive for my laptop and it was well worth it. I always try to purchase WD for storage since they are very reliable.

This is my 2nd purchase of an Easystore 5TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive. I loved the first one (still in use) and the second one is just as outstanding.

This little drive can store A LOT of data. I mean, wow. I do a lot of video restoration for clients and I store raw video data in these drives, and it's still barely half full, my only complain with this drive is that it takes FOOOOREEEEVER to spin up and start. The unit takes about 8 seconds for it to be "usable" even if it's been plugged in for a while. It has a built-in power saving feature which turns off the hard drive platters from spinning. They'll need to spin back up to their desired speed before reading or writing could start. I find this annoying since I'm working with footage in real-time and I have to hit the "record" button once I get a synced video signal (working with analog footage), and sometimes they'll be an 8 second lag and I have to compensate by clicking earlier
