    For real, get this and get a spare. One foe all the pictures and the other for your videos. Take them when you visit friends or family to share your experiences and be able to get some from them as well. No external power needed.

    Only brand we buy… durable Best Buy no longer gives points if you don’t use their credit card. I’ll be buying from other places from now on due to this final straw with this company and things that have happened.

    I use Debian linux, so reformatted this disk with ext4 and encrypted the partition using LUKS. It has been working perfectly well and as expected. I have two other 5TB easystore usb hard drives and they have held up nicely for years.
