This is a great usb storage device for my PS4. Very easy to use, just plug it in, format it and you're ready to go. It seems like plenty of storage for now, but I may eventually opt for the 4 TB in the future.

I bought a Western Digital MyCloud NAS last year and realized that while it was a great solution to centralize the pictures, files and videos from around my family's computers, laptops, phones and tablets, what would I do if it died? Luckily, it has a USB 3.0 plug on the back so I bought this portable HDD and plugged it in. In the MyCloud menu the new USB drive was instantly acknowledged and I was able to setup a scheduled backup to the USB. I went to bed, got up and checked my computer and it had a notification that the backup was completed. Very easy!

Love these external hard drives I have a few of them and have never had any issues using them, like how compact they are doesn’t take up to much space, very good price on sale!

It's an external drive that I use for my PS4. Plugged it in. Formatted it. It works. Didn't need the "cloud backup" frills of the higher more expensive model. I only use WD drives.

Is the best hard drive for store my entire photos, videos and documents! And wih it compact size, is very portable and conveniently to transport in my backpack! Great product!

My daughter needed a portable hard drive to backup her college files from her MAC. This was an awesome deal on a Best Buy Deal of the Day. We researched the product before purchasing and our daughter has been very pleased with it. I was so surprised how little it was great size for a college student to be able to carry with her laptop when she is going to classes or traveling.
