Guys. This is a very great product. Iv purchased 3 and have been very reliable. 1 for my home working PC and the other 2 for gaming PS4 consoles. Kiddos can store many games and have no issues as I foe my multiple design softwares. ...no regrets

Bought this for my Xbox One and it works great! Easy to setup and takes no more than 2 mins to do. Would recommend this product to anyone that's looking for that extra storage for their Xbox One.

Was running out of memory on my computer. The external herd drive has given an additional 4 TB, which is twice what I had on my computer. It was easy to install and use. Great value with my Geek Squad discount.

Uses the harddrive for extra storage for my PS4. It was easy to install and I have been using it since day 1 without any glitches.

4TB of memory for the price I spent on a 2TB just a few years back. Western Digital is quality, and I will always recommend them.

This unit is not too large and holds a significant amount of data. It seems to be without errors and downloading to it is quick.

I bought this WD My Book, backed up a bunch of my pictures and files, and 3 days later my desktop computer, which I use for my real estate business , crashed! Good news is The Geek Squad fixed my computer, but it was down for several days. I was able to hook this up to my laptop and access my files I had just backed up. Yippee!

I purchased the Western Digital 4 TB drive as my computer could not handle all the video I shoot in Haiti (or the photos), and so I needed a reliable, high capacity storage method to keep up with everything and keep my computer from crashing. This item did the trick, solving the problem perfectly. I highly recommend this device.

Easy to use and just what I needed. I have had many of the WD Passports and the cord always seems to malfunction. Most of the time of my own doing. This is a lot harder to forget that it's plugged in. Plenty of space for what I need.

I purchased the WD 4TB for 2 reasons. One being the large amount of storage space (4TB), and secondly the auto backup software so that I can now feel assured my Windows programs and software are now saved. The size of the external drive is just a tad bigger than my old 500GB WD Book Drive so not crowding my desktop for more space.

We use our WD My Book instead of the hard drive on our individual computers... everything is safe and in one place.

Bought the 4TB external drive to use as a backup for my XBox One. The base model gets filled very quickly if you download games. Setup was very easy! Just plug the external drive to the Xbox One via USB cable and the Xbox One recognized the drive immediately and all you had to do is select to format the drive once it comes up and you are good to go. Be warned that you don't want to store anything on this drive before you use it with the Xbox One because the Xbox format will wipe everything out. Once you do have it installed and formatted you can transfer games from the original Xbox One to the new drive very simply. Just select a game in your Games & Apps hit select then "manage games" and it will give you the option to move the game to the new drive. Very easy and look at all that space! You can also set up the new drive to be the default drive that games/apps download it automatically which is really nice. I also read online that download times and load times go faster on the external drive. To me I don't see a huge difference but it might be slightly faster. Not a big enough difference to really notice though.

Bought this for the Xbox as an external drive. 4 TB is more than enough to save my games to the external hard drive. Very user friendly and affordable. Best things is that one can take it anywhere and connect to another Xbox and play your games.

I have this drive attached directly to my wireless router which allows me to access from anywhere in my network.

Bought this for an external hard drive for my PS4, easy to install and transfer all my games to the hard drive. With just a few games on my 500 gig hard drive, I was having to delete games to install new ones. Now with 4tb, I have plenty of room for my existing games and more new ones without having to delete games. :)

I used it for extended storage for my PS4 and its great but if you play most games from it they will crash on you. So i just store the games on it and then load the one i want to play on the internal hard drive and then play it from there otherwise it will crash while playing especially online games (multiplayer),but i would buy it again because its so large and a great price

I was look for an external storage for pictures and music. Thiw was an excellent choice. The setup was less than 5 minutes. During the setup, the latest software update was loaded. I have gotten several notifications from WD of updates to keep my drive at peak performance.

Being somewhat of a video collector, I now have 4 of these. The first one I purchased cost quite a bit more than what you can buy these for now, they've become very affordable. I've had nothing but good experience with WD drives and will continue to use them into the foreseeable future.
