It takes up little space and have all the space I'll ever need

I use a lot of external HD’s for storage and back up. WD so far has been very reliable. This 6TB so far seems to be as good as those I have used in the past. I have notice a slight noise when shutting the drive down but I hope that is not a sign of an issue. I double back this up so.....

Size is smaller than my other external hard drive's. It's a good desktop space-saving item and seems to work nice with a good upload speed. Good terabyte size and good price. I recommend this item to anybody who needs to free up space or back up their precious pictures and other files. Item is recommended for this price!

This is a large drive at a very affordable price which can fit all of your backups photos and home videos.

This was a great priced External Hard Disc .It holds all my Photos, Music Files and videos so I will Never lose them .I even made a back up of my all my computer's hard drive in case something happens . And still have enough room to add much more. Makes me feel much safer now knowing I won't ever lose my files

USB3!! The only draw back is the bulky size but it is much more storage space than the more portable option.

I have bought several My Book drives over the years, and I have been very pleased with their performance. Although the packaging has changed over the years, I find that I like the new look of these enclosures because there is an area you can touch without it leaving fingerprint smudges.

I mistakenly bought this thinking it was Network Attached Storage. Much to my dismay it had no Ethernet port. It performs beautifully through USB3 and the software is simple "set it & forget it". Unfortunately you can't install it on other PCs in your network; so you have to share it and use another software solution on other PCs

Best Western Digital hard drive storage in the world! :-) I scan for any bad sectors and no find bad sectors. That's great news! I would buy again when go on sale anytime. Great for store a lot of games, movies, etc on 6 TB hard drive. :-)

WD has been around long enough to prove they are not some cheap, fly by night brand. They offer great quality drives at good prices. The sale price at Best Buy made this a steal and it is a fantastic, reliable drive for backup or extra storage for any system.

I love the amount of space that is product has. However, I am disappointed in no support that I received when I bought this product the first time. The first one had some defects and I did not receive a replacement, which I should have.

I needed a new large drive for time machine backup on my mac. Drive came formatted for PC but was no problem to re-format for Mac. Old Time Machine backup copied over flawlessly and is working great.I now have a year of backup and still almost 3TB available

I've owned many WD drives in the past and they've yet to fail on me. Time will tell if this continues to keep going strong for it's entire warranty period, but so far it's working great.

This drive has adequate storage for my needs and was a really great price.

Using as a backup drive - great capacity and very quite. No issues at all.

This drive is doing a great jof as a backup drive. It replaced a smaller, older model and it is performing great. My backup times have been reduced and its doing the job great. Its also pretty quiet which is good since it sits out near the monitor.
