Excellent storage, very compact and reasonable price.

The Passport (1 TB) is amazing. I have used it as a backup for my laptop for several years. The storage capacity is huge and it is so easy to use to backup documents and retrieve them. The device comes with a 10-year warranty, including being able to retrieve files if it becomes corrupted. I highly recommend it.

I have an older Western Digital SSD and it has performed flawlessly, so when I needed a second SSD, WD came to mind right away. Easy to set up and use. I like the extra security of an external solid state drive.

WD produces excellent hard drives and I’ve used them for years. I’m using this one for the backup to my Mac mini HD. It was easy to reformat for the MacOS and runs silently. An excellent device, as expected.

I love this compact external Drive. It makes my Back Ups secure and within reaching distance. I feel my info is safe when it is in my hands and secured by my own Passsword and locked away when I am not at the computer. The 1 terabyte fits my needs, and if I need to go larger, there are more Passports with a larger capacity available.

[Employee of bestbuy] This is a must to have in everyhome! Dont rely on your phone to save important pictures or the cloud its good to have a backup and also lets you go through pictures to try and organize. Backups are important!

I like Western Digital and needed a second hard drive. But the one I bought didn't load properly. I thought it was my fault and went to the Geek Squad for help. It turns out it was defective. The good news was the the technician figured it out quickly and replaced it. These things happen, but getting it replaced was even a better experience.

I bought 2 of these. One for ps4 and other for ps5. They work perfect with both systems and no issues so far. Make sure to safely remove them when you want to disconnect any system. It will give a warning that files may be corrupted if you just unplug them, but it's happened a few times where I've lost power and the error came up, but no issues after pressing ok.

The Passport External USB was just the beginning of my purchases leading up to the purchase of a new laptop. First and foremost it is 1TB of space which is essential for all my photos. It is easier to use and more substantial than a thumb drive - although they are still useful - but for large amounts of data one does not want to lose to free up disk space the Passport is unbeatable.
