After recently thinking I had lost all my data, the Geek Squad put everything on my laptop onto this passport. There is still plenty of space on it and I now use it to backup on a regular basis. Great item and price for peace of mind!

An absolute great purchase! Small and fits in my hand and it doesn’t get in the way! I love that I can buy/download as many PS4 games as my heart desires and it’ll be a long while before the space is filled up!.

Recommended to me by the Geek Squad. Easy to use and I feel better that it's a simple way to save my pictures, docs, music, etc. Small enough to travel with so I can easily share pictures and videos with family and friends.

I needed a little more storage for my PS4, this 1TB was perfect. It is small and barely noticeable. Easy to set up and turns off when the PS4 is off. If in standby mode it will turn off after 2 or 3 hours.

Reliable and not very expensive when compared to have a Harddrive cash. EVERYONE needs to back up their files, photos, and music for when the unexpected happens. This portable HD is easy to use - plug and use. Highly recommend it.

No nonsense little HD. It isnt fancy but it does the job and it's small and light enough to carry just about everywhere. It fits in my pocket...and I'm a woman. Our clothes have tiny pockets!

This is a great external hard drive, I have had it for a month and it does everything I need. The price was great and affordable with all the things I need to store all of my data. It is easy to use and set up, could not ask for more

This portable hard drive is pretty small so it's nice to put in the sleeve of a backpack or wherever and keep things organized. It's got a decent amount of storage for my personal needs. It's fast enough when transferring files!

I needed to make a system image of my Windows 10 operating system. I read different reviews of external hard drives and ended up purchasing this WD My Passport 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive in blue. I never made a system image before and there were no instructions with the hard drive in the box, although there was WD contact information on a sheet in the box if one needed to contact them for help. I went on line to "How To Revive Your Windows 10 Installation With System Image Recovery" by techrepublic and they had a detailed procedure with pictures explaining how to create a system image in Windows 10 to an external hard drive and then how to recover a system image from an external hard drive to an internal hard drive through the built in Windows 10 software. I used their information to create a system image and then transfer that system image to an internal hard drive. This WD 1TB external hard drive worked great. I had no issues at all with creating the system image and then taking the system image from the external hard drive and importing it to an internal hard drive. I am very happy with the performance of this WD 1TB external hard drive. I didn't know for sure if the system image would clone the hard drive exactly; that is bring over all my favorites, my programs, my E-mails, and data. I can now tell you that the system image is an exact copy of the hard drive. Nothing is left behind. This WD 1TB external hard drive and Windows 10 work great together.

Does the job. Never had to reformat. Wouldn't be without one. Easy to take with you. Would suggest a case just to be safe with any passport purchase.

Has so much storage. I don't think I will ever fill it up all the way. Easy to use for storage. Nice small size makes it easy to carry

I'm an amateur photographer and this little gadget was a life saver. My computer was running slow due to hard disk being full and this has really been a lifesaver. Very easy to install and use.

This product was an amazing investment. I can store all my photos and videos on this. Though it took a a little technical skills as for Mac users you need to change the format.

I needed additional storage space for my X-Box 1 and thought I would try this method. I was lured in by the price, which I felt was reasonable. This product did everything I expected, was easily installed and works perfectly.

I bought this portable drive to backup the data on my laptop. Using it was straightforward even without loading the proprietary software. The drive is fast, compact and perfectly suited for my purpose.

This was purchased for my daughter to backup her laptop. She has a ton of music and wanted a way to keep from loosing her music as well as pictures. Easy to use, small light and not issues to report. It was priced perfect.

This is perfect for storing or backing up your files. Only ran into one issue. On Windows 10, the drive letter does not show. Still have not figured out this issue yet. It works on laptop with Windows 10 but not desktops. I am sure I will have this figured out soon enough. This was really meant for my laptop, but would have been nice on the desktop.

If you are looking for high performance, you want to consider something else. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money to get a lot of storage to back up pictures, videos, etc, then I highly recommend this product. It is exactly what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay.
