I made this purchase because my laptap crashed and I lost the files that I had saved. I'm not into the Icloud storage craze so this portable hard drive was my preference. Setup was easy.

I've been purchasing so many USB Flash Drives to keep my photos and I didn't know that I could of purchased this item instead and include my personal documents as well. Love it!!!!

I needed extra memory for my desktop and this Hard Drive was recommended by a Best Buy associate. Basically this is a USB plug and play set-up. Could not be easier and all my files are backed up. Also have the advantage of being portable, unplug it and put it in your pocket and your files go with you.

Because my computer has a small solid state drive, I purchased this hard drive to send all of my processed data to it as I work. This hard drive does the trick.

We've used this to store photos and other media on so we can quickly grab it and go if we needed to leave the house in an emergency. It's a backup for our backups

I really like this external hard drive. It makes backing up my computer so much faster. Now I have peace of mind that I will not lose anything in my computer.

This is my 2nd Passport. I recommend that, if you're using one as an external drive to save room on your device, that you buy a 2nd one just for full backups. It's the safest way to ensure that all data is retrievable. The unit is a little challenging on initial setup but very user friendly afterwards.

Good product to utilize to save data prior to having computer serviced / repaired prior to having computer worked on

I bought this to back up my pictures, the price was great for the size of the hard drive. My only concern is the plug is a weird connector that is not standard.

This product was recommended to me by a Best Buy employee, I told him what I was needing. It works great, easy set up, supper fast (compared to my old tired one). I'm happy with it.

I definitely recommend WD to back up your data from your PS4, computer or other device. 1TB is plenty of storage and the 3.0 USB transfer is amazingly fast.

We were us to external storage devices but nothing compares to this. We're able to backup all of our pictures and other files we choose.

Perfect addition to the PS4 to expand the storage. WD has better reliability from what I read compared to Seagate, so I ended up buying another one for my Xbox one.
