Love it so much! I can plug it in to any computer and get to my homework. There is plenty of space.

Easy to use and perfect to keep my additional files on so it will not take up space on my computer.

We purchased 2 of these external drives in preparation for backing up all recordings from 2 Dish Hoppers due to an equipment upgrade. There was plenty of storage to hold the amount of recordings from each Hopper. When the new equipment arrived the drives seamlessly integrated with the new Hopper and the recordings did not have to be transferred back to the Hopper to watch. One note is that the speed of these drives is not as I would have expected. Transferring data to the drive took a considerable amount of time and the drive became hot to the touch several times. Admittedly, there was a lot of data being transferred at one time but I would have expected these drives to keep up with the transfer and not get bogged down.

Even if you don't know how to use it you just have to plug it in and done. Great to have to back up files. Good price

Seems fine to me. No problems, good price, simple to use. What more can one say? A simple affair.

This was my first time ever having a hard drive, but my computer’s hard drive failed and needed replacing. I figured out to to get all my files after they were transferred. Thanks geek squad!

I didnt have a clue how to get all my pictures off my old computer and they were helpful in suggesting to use this. Not only do I have all my pictures from years ago but also fixed my computer.

This is a very affordable and heavy duty product. It has plenty of room to back up a computer entirely.

What can I say? It’s a basic external hard drive and it works exactly as advertised. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability but I don’t expect any problems from Western Digital.

Because my wife's laptop had died, I took it to Geek Squad to have them transfer all the content from the old laptop drive to the new one. This HD happened to be on sale that week, and not only is she happy to have all her old content back, but also has used this external drive in the last 2 months, to back up her new laptop on a weekly basis, without any issues. If you need extra storage, you can't go wrong with this drive!
