I use my hard drive to backup all of my work and my pictures. The 2TB feature is wonderful - it has so much valuable space.

Still getting used to how to use it since i am more familiar with Seagate. However, this one seems to be doing what it is supposed to do.

Excellent hard drive collection of photos and music does very well. Exactly what I needed.

My fav brand for years. Tried Seagate and resulted unreliable, prone to fails, HORRIBLE and Unacceptable Customer Support, Hidden, deceiving and shaming return policies. Had Seagate lasting within deceiving Manufacturing warranty, stopped running locking thousand of of my photo collection. I worked in IT for years and never had problems with WD products. Do yourself a favor have a couple of WD and make duplicates backups,,just in case one fails.

This External 3.0 Portable Hard Drive save my life. It's a reasonable price hard drive for all my 10,000 or more photos and file that I could of lost when my computer needed some major work.

I’ve purchased several of these WD portable drives over the years, and all have met my expectations. I used this one to make a copy of family home videos for my son and his family.

Allowed the preservation of data from old pc when purchasing a new laptop.

It does exactly what it says it will do, saves data. Got it on sale for like 50 bucks while the other colors were 89. Not sure why a blue drive would cost more, but it all worked out.

I'm using this on my PS4. The transfer rate is fast. The size is great and stays out of the way. USB powered which is nice. Was plug and play out of the box. The PS4 formats it to what is needed.
