As title said, I cannot copy large hunk of files. I was trying to transfer files from my old phones to this external drive, but when ever I tried to copy a folder that has a lot of data (the folder was only 5GB in total) it estimated that it’ll take 40 mins to transfer and I always ran into an error midway. To bypass this problem, I had to copy a little data at a time. •The build quality is okay. •I can’t give a rating on speed because this is my first External Hard Drive. •It’s very easy to use. I’m just disappointed that I can’t transfer files larger than 5GB in one go. My fault for going the cheap route for something important. Next time I’ll go for SanDisk.

I bought this product for school so I could save my projects and videos. I didnt know if there were any instructions on how to use but was disappointed as I didn’t know you have to recalibrate it first before using.

I needed an inexpensive portable harddrive and this was the perfect choice. Very compact and light. Plenty of capacity and no issues interfacing with my Mac Pro.

This is my 6th WD Passport over the last 11 years & they all still work! No problems. I use them to archive photos, raw & jpg, on windows 10.

The my passport is great for backing up important documents and photos from laptops and desktops. It gives peace of mind if a computer crashes I have all my data saved.

This is a good hard drive with good space but the thing is that sometimes it will disconnect out of nowhere sometimes but it rarely happens, may be due to the wire connecting it to my laptop could be hitting something but I am not sure yet.

encryption works fine... not the fastest portable when it comes to transferring files but does the job and has never crashed which is the most important thing

Mainly use as a back up for my photos and it works really good. Only have had it for a couple months so far.

I needed a higher capactiy replacement for a Seagate USB 3.0 1TB portable HDD that I had been using. This fit the bill and was priced as inexpensively as I could find.

It is compact and works really well with my system. When I pulled it into the port the computer recognized it right away. The upload speed is very fast as well.

The drive was easy to setup. I set this drive up so I can copy pictures to it. I just drag and drop the pictures from my Mac to the Passport drive.

Purchase this to use with my Xbox And serves the purpose no need to buy an expensive brand Xbox this one works just fine now I have plenty of space and it was a great price

I use several of these for backing up data daily for a client. Very reliable, even after multiple reuses. Will continue to buy, as we retire them each calendar year.

I needed more storage room for all the pics I have so this was perfect. Keeps my computer from being slow due to the storage.

We only use external hard drives to prolong the life of ours pc’s and laptops. This brand is by far our favorite after UHC frustration with seagate.
