I already owned a WD Passport but I needed a new one with a lot more storage capacity. I have found the WD Passports very easy to use and have been very reliable.

The storage is huge compared to how small it is (even smaller than the size of my palm). Plus, it's so light, unlike my old Transcend hard drive....

I was looking for a 2 TB external hard drive at a reasonable price and Western Digital was a perfect fit. This drive is very small and light and holds a ton of data. Highly recommended.

really easy to use, i have owned many WD hard drives . Never had a issue. reliable, and not big. WD also has alot of product line, you can find what you need.

Easy set up with no issues, I have an older model I have been using consistently for many years. It is compatible with your consoles (PS4 and PS5), I recommend using it to download any PS4 purchases to maintain open space for PS5 games.

This external hard drive triples my computer storage and is so compact that it can fit in my back pocket. It goes where my computer goes and it doesn’t take up much space!

I needed more B/U space for my image B/Us of my computer and this was on sale. Very pleased with its size and simple operation.

Easy to operate, plenty of space to save documents, photos, etc... very reliable I have not had any issues with it.

Great bang for the buck -- Smaller and lighter than the old Seagate that was good but finally went to heaven -- Transfer rate is great -- I've been playing with computers and the like since 1963 -- Yup -- Old but good -- I tested this thing and it is 100 percent -- 2TB should take care of my needs for at least 5 years -- I hope the data growers use some common sense cuz (help support cuz - It is way more efficient) we humans can only use so many pixels to define a image -- May need advanced drives for politicians -- Stay Safe

Loads of space! Software was easy to install and the device is also easy to use. It is light weight and can be carried around anywhere.

I needed this in a pinch and it has been amazing. Cannot recommend Western Digital products enough. They last a long time and work on everything if formatted to the correct format. If you want to be sure it works for both MAC and PC, reformat it to exFAT before storing anything on it. It will work on any OS out of the box, but it's usually best to re-format it to exFAT.

Big drive, small price, WD quality. Worked out of the box and now we have reliable backups for the inevitable laptop crash.

This slim and compact external hard drive is exactly what I needed. Light weight and comfortable. More storage space than I need, thus far.

Very nice quality and exactly the size storage I was looking for. The size isn’t too big so it’s easy enough to carry in a bag etc.

I have always been a Western Digital fan, good, reliable products at decent prices. This particular drive was a gift for our daughter so she could backup pictures of our grand kids, this is very important to Grandpa and Grandma. So if you are reading this review you are looking for a backup drive, just quit looking and buy it. If your family pictures are sitting on a 6 year old desktop or laptop drive you are tempting fate. I retired from over 40 years in computers/IT and as good as the technology is, I promise you it will fail.

This WD 2TB portable hard drive is very compact and easy to use. Great value and excellent option for data and file back-up purposes.

As the portable name says, it definitely is. It is light but very good quality cin 2 tb, enough space for what one wants to keep and carry.

I have only had it for a month or so but it has been easy to use and very reliable so far. It is a nice size also.

I've had no issues so far and the Hard Drive loads quickly. I'd say it's worth the money for the amount of space and the ease of use. All you're doing is plugging this thing in and you can use the WD Locker application built in or not. I believe the Locker function works as the encryption, but don't quote me. I'm not the best with the technical jargon, I just need something to store my files that are clogging up my computer's hard drive. And when it comes to that, this drive gets the job done.
