I use this with my PS4. Got it to replace my 1TB external HD of the same brand. Very easy set up. No issues with lag or load times on games. I'll definitely stick with this brand when I need more space on the PS4. Kind of wish I just went ahead with the 4TB though.

I picked up several of these 2TB external drives for my end users. It provides the flexibility to transfer documents between computers and backup. These are also useful for storing video games for the Xbox one or PS4. For $69 you can’t beat the price.

Simple to use, and very convenient for moving a large volume from my old desktop to my new laptop. Good value for money and I feel secure as this 2TB provides ample local storage without having to use the cloud.

It meets my expectation of a versatile storage space for whatever my needs are. Western Digital's onboard backup software is easy to use and has a small footprint. The 1TB capacity easily backs up my PC in a friendly, unencrypted format that also allows me to drag and drop copies of backed up files on the fly if needed. This product is everything I look for in a portable hard drive.

Fast and small. I bought one of these last year for my Xbox One and wanted another one for backups and sharing files on my home network. This year's model is smaller, and it has worked perfectly for what I need. I plugged it into the USB on my router and it was easy to access from every device in the family. I don't leave it plugged in all the time as a NAS, because it is always running and this model is probably not built to withstand that. But for planned backups and file sharing it does the job well.

I run my photo library from the Western Digital 2tb portable drive as well as backing up my computer. Performance has been consistent and I am very pleased with it especially considering the low price of the unit! It needs a stable platform and shouldn't be bounced around while in use (like any hard drive) but has traveled well to meetings as well as daily use from my desk. I will be purchasing a 1tb SSD drive for its ruggedness and speed when traveling to downloading and edit a large volume of raw formatted photos. The WD hard drive will be primarily used to back up my computer and as a permanent archive of my photos.

I am using this drive as an additional storage unit to my Nvidia Shield. It works great, was easy to set-up, and, although not the fastest drive around, is adequate speed-wise to serve the purpose. Good drive at a decent price!

First - this things is much smaller than I imagined (even with all of the pictures posted with a scale), which is good. I have it hooked up to my Playstation 4 for extra storage space and that has worked out well. The setup was easy enough and booting games from this hasn't been a problem. It does make a little noise - which you will probably notice if just using for a PC - but for me I can't hear it over the hum of the PS4.

I use this external hardrive mainly for my PS4. This has plenty of space for all my miscellaneous content and especially for all the game update downloads that take up lots of storage space. I remember buying this when it was on sale and it really turned out to be a great investment. It's very compact and unnoticeable. Would buy more and trust this company for their good quality products.

I have several of these in various colors and for various reasons. They're small, dependable and do what you need them to do: store digital stuff. I use them for backups, taking files wherever I need to go, sharing with friends, etc. If you need a simple data storage solution without the need for ultra fast data read times (these aren't SSD'S or 7200 RPM disks, remember...) it's hard to go wrong with this drive.

The size is perfect to take with you on the go. Storage capacity is perfect. Easy to setup.

Works great. 2TB capacity was a great upgrade from our old WD 650GB drive which was still running fine, but was also 10 years old. No sense in risking a failure in a back-up system. And technology advances so much in ten years. Granted we do use the Norton Security back-up versus the WD system the old drive was using, but we can cram a whole lot more onto this one.

Purchased this to backup my hard drive while our company changed over from Dropbox to Google Drive. On a couple of occasions we needed to go to this drive to retrieve files that slipped through the cracks. It works flawlessly and continues to provide security. Simple compact and seemingly reliable. The question is how long it will last and there hasn't been enough time elapsed to determine that.
