No bells and whistles you don't need. It is an external hard drive for backup that works like a champ. Plug it in to your 3.0 USB and start copying your computer over. It is enough to hold the entire contents of most laptops in the palm of your hand. Now, go put it in a fire safe until next week.....

I usually buy Western Digital so this was a no Brainer. I added to my collection of harddrive, the speed is fast, the space is right, and I feel like it was a good purchase. The size and how quiet it is works for me as well.

I bought a portable hard drive a few years ago that was the size of an old dictionary. I was really surprised when the store manager recommended this hard drive about the size of an average cell phone with more memory than I will ever use. And it wasn't expensive. Winning!!

I used this hard drive as a extended storage for my ps4 pro and it works like a charm, now I dont have to choose which games I want to keep downloaded on my ps4 or choose what to delete because of the massive updates that the popular games have coming out for them.

WD products are top shelf - this is no exception. Comes with software that makes setup easy. I'm using the product for network backup. High speed and with 2TB of storage memory, it's perfect for network archiving.

Pretty easy to use and has worked well for me. The app isn't as laid out as I expected and I do wish I would have gotten a wireless one. So if you don't mind having to keep it plugged in then this is a great one. There is no continuous back up option. You can have it back up your files down to every hour but automatically every time you add or edit something.

Have had no problems with this little 2TB hard drive, even though I accidentally disconnected it a couple times without properly ejecting it. No data was lost. I bought the Windows version and reformatted it for use with a Mac and it's been working fine.

Works greatHad it since the June 6th and has missed a beat. Took it out of box and plug it right in and the PC saw it right away and was able to use it right after, and plus you can also us it for expanding your consoles as well (PS4 or xboxone)

For speed, durability and reliability, Western Digital external drives are it. If you know the market, WD is a standard and at this price for 2TB, not even a question. I use this one for my PS4 Pro and the other 3 I have are for backups and all my MP3 files.

i was in the market for a decent sized external Drive. for me, my only options were WD and Seagate. To be honest,I really wanted a seagate for the mosaic design. but i went with WD because of the price match. i was able to get the 2tb for 60 with tax. as this is strictly for my ps4, 2tb was the perfect size. i figure by the time i am out of space, ps5 will be around the corner. but anyways, this drive worked smoothly. it was easy to connect and follow instructions on the tv to format it. it took about 1 hr to copy my files over to the drive from my ps4. I'm absolutely happy with it.

Works flawlessly on my PlayStation system at home to expand my game library. Installation was as easy as it’d seem, I love it and would recommend that if you’re on the fence about this vs another 2TB storage device, get this one!

I plugged this hard drive into my computer and it powered up right away. Then I dumped a large load of data onto it. As advertised, it stored my data and will allow me access it, modify it and erase it. I feel totally satisfied every time I use it.

This revision of the Western Digital My Passport is much slimmer than the previous and performs excellent as expected. The security feature is useful to ensure that your files can only be accessed on one computer or with a password.

This drive is small, quiet, and fast. USB3 interface makes it compatible with most PCs. Great price on a lot of space too. Highly recommended. Works with PC, Mac, or Unix after properly formatting the drive for the OS you want to use.

This extra hard drive is great for storing photos. I has 2T of capacity and is easy to pack and take with you on a trip. It is sturdy and I have several of them. High quality, great price!

I needed an easy to install portable HD for backing up my data. The WD Passport 2TB set up was seamless and took less than 5 minutes. The unit is very small so it takes up very little space on my desk. Highly recommended

I am very happy with this drive. It's my first Terrabyte drive and the performance is great. Just plug and play and it works great with my Windows 10 system. Way more storage than I need, but the price was too good to pass up.

I needed two things from an external hard drive. 1) Can be used with both Mac and PC and 2) easy to use/ user friendly. This is exactly what I wanted and I would buy it again on the off chance it breaks.

As with most Western Digital products, this is a solid choice. Transfer speeds are good even at USB 2.0, and 2TB of portable storage should be very useful for most owners. An excellent choice at this price point.
