Great external drive. I love it!!! It's a lot bigger than my previous external drive and I like that it's portable. Now I can save a whole lot more than before.

Convenient portable storage. Hold 4 Tb but is only slightly thicker than units which hold only 1 Tb. Has fast read and write speeds

Imma be honest, only reason why I got this one aside from other brands was bc of the password protection. As far as I can tell it’s been working well & has plenty of storage for the games Ive been playing on my PC. Pretty easy to install.

Though I am still amazed that a 4TB external can now be this small and afforable, it is a pretty standard external hard drive. Nice quick transfer though and I appreciate the capacity given the size.

Great capacity, USB 3.0, fast, easy to set up and backup PC's. No issue with connecting. Looks nice and very portable, secure.

This drive is compact, fairly fast, and has lot's of space. I was happy that it was available at a nearby location.

Not bad for the 4TB size and that it is not an SSD. Speed was good for a hybrid drive this size. It does require it's specific USB cable that comes with the drive, to give you the speed. I bought this for my LG QNED tv I just purchased. It's now full and runs the 1080p and higher movies great. The only thing that would make this better is if it was a SSD.

Small and compact. Reliable and easy to use. Works well with my Macbook as a backup drive.

Other reviews were correct, that this is great as an external hard drive for PS4. Just plug in and use. I plugged it in, and it asked if I wanted it to format it for PS4 use. Just click yes and it's done. All of the Call of Duty games and updates are so big, that I keep saying it's like being in a real possessive relationship. When you have have those games on your hard drive, you can't have any other games since they take up all the space and time. This external hard drive feels like I got my PS4 back with all of the old games I was able to reload. Also just takes pressure off the system since I was always maxed on data usage.

Great pc external hard drive backup. Plug and Play, just connect it, schedule days for backup and forget it. Very reliable.

I reluctantly 1st purchased another brand over a few bucks. That was my 1st mistake. I had a 1TB Seagate and it was easy and flawless. I stuck to my gut and ended up with this. Easy, copy & paste. Free up space in minutes. I highly recommend!

Fast communication with my desk top and laptop systems via USB3 made backup and transfer simple. The included cable is just long enough (~16") for my situation, but may be short for some people. Compact if you need to transport, and since it doesn't need external power is convenient. I've used the Passport series of drives for years w/o any problems.

Nothing beats the value that WD provided with these external drives! Just know it's a HDD using USB 3.0, so you're not going to get blazing fast read/write speeds. But for pure space to backup your files, it's hard to beat the price. I own several of these over a number of years and have not had a problem with the actual drive itself. Highly recommend for anyone on a budget.
