I'm using this as a backup. Easy set up and use. I have lots of pictures and this has the capacity to get all of them.

Hard to say anything negative here. It does it’s job well and doesn’t get too hot. Good speeds for mechanical drive

During Geeksquad service I was contacted stating that I didn’t have enough storage space for the transfer being done and they recommended this hard drive. Had it about a month and it has plenty of space for future storage, very easy to use, and it’s nice having a secondary source of storage for data.

A new Mac laptop with different connections forced me to seek another solution for backing up my computer data. This was my solution, and I am very happy with it. It works in the background while I am using my laptop, or while it is idle, and I have never had a problem with it. I do recommend it if this is what you need.

Absolutely no issues using this with my 2015 Macbook Pro. Love it, works extremely fast and holds all my videos.

I'm so glad I purchased this Passport for Mac. I had a problem w/laptop and called Apple support to help. In this event I lost all my desktop folders. Thanks to the Passport and Time Machine I got it all back. It is very easy to set up. Basically just plug in and go. Best when used w/Time Machine.

I finally decided to backup my Mac. So I did some research on various external hard drives and decided on the passport. The passport was extremely easy to set up. It is working well, providing hourly, daily and weekly back ups for my Mac. It is very compact and fits nicely behind my modem on a small desk.

Hard drive is great to back up files from laptop or computer. I have a lot of photographs and documents on my laptop that was taking up storage, so I bought this hard drive to copy those files as a back-up and safety storage. Easy to use and accessible. Hard drives vary based on hard drive of your computer.
