This has been worth every penny! I have big dogs and they don't watch where they step (on top of that, they're clumsy....bless 'em.) - with this case I never have to worry that my fur babies foot prints will hurt my computer. It has done an awesome job protecting it!

My girlfriend and I get this to back up a lot of photos and media files kept on the MacBook and it was very easy to use and offers a lot of space for a reasonable price.

It fit my needs. I was able back up all that was on my computer and still have plenty of room.

My daughter has a Macbook Pro. Great machines, but they do not come with a lot of memory compared to PC`s. She was going to study abroad and needed more memory for the photos, etc which were sure to come. Instead of some expensive upgrade, a Geek Squad member suggested we get this external Portable Hard Drive to move pictures to. So not only did she gain space on her laptop she has her photos and documents safely backed up. Highly recommend the My Passport for Mac.

The Western Digital MyPassport drives are excellent drives. They are very reliable, and work with both Windows and Mac operating systems, when formatted as exFAT.

There is no reason not to back up your data with memory this inexpensive. I replaced a smaller capacity WD external with this higher capacity model. The transfer took a little time but went without any issues. Gee, just the way it is supposed to work!

Purchased a new My Passport for Mac by WD since my other backup crashed after 5 years. I have it a couple of weeks and everything is working great.

Item is small and easy to use. Any individual can easily save the info With out being tech savvy. It's small enough to carry in your backpack pockets.

I have had good experience with the reliability and speed of the WD USB powered portable drives. Good inexpensive Time Machine drive.

After loosing much data in the past because of various reasons I decided to get a portable hard drive. I didn't have to do anything but connect it. My Mac recognized it immediately and it started working. I wish I got this long ago.

This product is for iMac, my purpose was for backup of pictures and video.
