It scared me one time by not syncing with my iMac cause I have it plugged in all the time but it just took a restart to fix.

This drive could back up all the data in the multiverse in 42 seconds. I know this because I’ve done it. Pretty amazing huh.

They are a bit slow, but if you're not in a rush to transfer TBs of data in a short amount of time you're going to be all set with these.

So far I like it and have had to use it to recover a system glitch. It is like having an insurance policy for data recovery.

Love WD Portable HD

Had one that l had to reconfigure before l used it, but it ended up being incompatible to the new Mac. Little bit more expensive, but worth it if you're not a techie!

It can be used to mirror your Mac but I decided to use it solely as a large USB stick. Instructions are not the best and it takes a few minutes to get set up but one I got passed that, I was able to use it with ease.
