Smaller than it looked online. Thats a good thing. Needed to back up my iMac. Doesn't need a power adapter, just plug in a boom. Transfer rate seems fast enough and so far so good.

My seagate when died on me and I was said that the support they gave me because it was a windows/mac HD. So i went and bought this WD MAC only and its the best! I have no issue.

Needed a hard drive to back my Mac up to and this was easy to use. So far no problems. I would like to hook it up to my router and back up witelessly. Haven't figured it out yet.

Small footprint, perfect for storing media or using for Time Machine. Best thing is no external power needed, as opposed to larger drives with larger footprint but same storage.

wife likes to edit the photos while we are driving on the long trips. this makes it easy and portable to use while in the car and she feels like she is not wasting time.

It basically runs itself! All I did was connect it to my MacBook and it started to work immediately. The size is perfect for storage in my bag and it has a clean design.

I got the 2 TB hard drive as my 256 gb on my mac got full within no time. this 2 tb hard drive helps me backup as well as load all my pictures on it. good worth.

Needed a simple solution for file storage. Setup was so easy and quick. I would say that it is fast when you have access to USB 3.0 but my MacBook Pro is pre USB 3.0 and the drive transfer speed is adequate. In need of lots of space for not a lot of money??? Get one of these!!

This product worth buying especially if you have 2016 mac or later, give better speed then my other harddrives, your data is fully protected with password

Purchased to go specifically for a MacBook Pro and to hold videos as well as photos. Recommend it. Have had no problems with it and it’s been few months so far.

Zero complaints. Love this hard drive. I can fit so much on it and haven’t had a single issue. Love that I can protect it with a password as well.

I bought this unit to save time reformatting for use with a Mac. Paid a little more but worth the money. Unit was ready to go and easy to use right out if the box.

My Passport for Mac is a great backup of drive for my MacBook Pro. Works well with Time Machine. Just plug it in and go, cannot get much simpler than that.

Needed a backup drive for my Mac and not only did I find it at a great price and came with backup software for Mac but the quality of this drive is superb.

Works as described. Especially when migrating data between Macs. I never tried partitioning it for use on a windows and a mac. Time Machine capable. It's great!

I had to backup my MAC before having it serviced and bought this hard drive b/c it was compatible with MAC. Very easy to use, even for someone who is non-techy!
