This Drive is easy to use and has amazing amounts of storage! It has great features such as password protection which is great when working with sensitive files!

I had to back up 7 years of data from my Mac Book Pro and it did the job very easily. Very pleased that I was able to keep keep all of my data in a secure place.

Drive was plug and play. Turned it on and my Mac saw it right away. Told Time Machine to use it for backups and that was it. Couldn’t have been easier.

The WD Passport 2TB external drive was perfect for my computer back up, plug and play and fits nicely into my top desk drawer for easy access and easy backup.

I have always trusted this brand when it comes to external hard drives and glad i did. The only negative thing i can say about it is that they made the mypassport bigger than the previous ones and its ugly and thicker and no other color options for mac hard drives only black..

I uploaded all my file on this hard drive and it didn't even reach to 1/4 of it, I will have enough space for movies and other heavy files. I really like it.

gets the job done, USB 3 so it's not as fast as thunderbolt connection but still good.

Purchased a 2 Tb hard drive and it has performed as advertised. Hope it holds up given that it's primary use will be for storing my music for my DJ Business.

I've had many external hard drives of various brands in the past and WD is easy to use and very portable. Never had any issues with their products!

Hooked up easy to my mid 2010 imac. Seems to be working with time machine no problems. Put some bigger files on it as well to clear space.

I use this to store pictures I have edited on my Mac but don’t have room for it works great and was super easy to transfer files too

I needed a large back up external drive to store several thousand photos plus tons of movies. The process was amazingly quick and efficient on this drive.

Can’t live without having back ups! I have learned my lesson and will no longer rely on my computer to house all of my photography pictures.

Great external hard drive for the price. I was able to use it as my startup disk for my Macbook to avoid "no more storage on startup disk" errors.

I trust WD for a product that hasn’t been jostled and through the ringer before it gets to me. Often delicate hard drives live a tough life before they even reach the store so with cheap products you may be getting something that’s already on the cusp of failing before you even unseal the box. But with WD I’ve always had consistently superior lifespan and quality- I purchased two of these WD 2 TB drives to replace my old Lacie (broken) and my old 1TB WD that is still working. Don’t skimp on protecting your data.
