Needed to backup my laptop before something serious happens like a hard drive crash. Luckily best buy carrys portable HD for apple. Got this one at a great deal.

No setup required. Plugged into my MacBook pro and time capsule recommended backup immediately. Seems solid. Cord could be longer but sitting on a table its fine.

The drive performs well, now that I have purchased the cable necessary for it to connect with my USB A ports. The cable supplied was USB C, which does not work with a new MacBook Pro. The cable should have been supplied, and not an added expense.

This portable HHD works great and is very travel-friendly. With no external power source required its perfect for the traveling business man.

Slim design doesn't take up too much space, fits in with other desktop devices, and with the usual WD dependability and value.

Great time machine backup. Plug it in and let your mac work. Easily transferred data from the backup to a new machine. Worth the money
