Excellent Option for Data Storage

Transferred gigabytes of data from my laptop in good time without any hiccups. Good for an on the go solution to data backup of information that can then be copied to the home network. Also used for large video files and photographs to free up space on the travel laptop. All in all, a no problem solution to storage management with my laptop.

Great Purchase

I am in the process of writing my dissertation and needed an External USB to safe all of my work This works perfectly. I would recommend this product to any customer. You get your money worth. I like the fact that it has an USB extension for the newer mac and the old mac. Love it!

I purchased this WD external drive for the new iMac I bought at the same time. What a difference in size!! My old one is the size of a thick book; this one is the size of a deck of cards and takes up much less room on my desk. I will be using it as a Time Machine backup to my new iMac.

Data Backup to my Data Backup

I bought a secondary unit so that I can’t keep it safely at my home office. This was a good buy.

The initial backup took awhile as expected, but successive backups have been quick. I use three drives. This is my second Western Digital drive. Both have been fast and reliable. I do quite a bit of photography, so I’m very concerned about my drives reliability. Neither of my WD drives have given me any reason to worry.
