Great deal for a great product. It was definitely worth getting the 4TB

Quick and easy setup (if you even want to call it a "setup", it's plug and play right out of the box). Much smaller then I thought it would be, which was a great surprise. Looks great on my desk, lots of storage for a good price.

Got this as a gift for my friends Mac. She uses it for all her pictures and movies. I have basically the same one and it has never failed. All my home movies are now stored and I also use it while traveling with my laptop.

Highly recommend, 4 terabytes is plenty of storage for me at the moment. Not too bad on my wallet as well, very happy with this purchase. Plus the password encryption is another pro for me.

This product is great especially if you are into photography

This is a good upgrade from the desktop kind I've used for years. This uses only the USB cable and no power supply is required. It is the spinning disk kind so it still has to be treated as such. I'll be glad when the solid state drives become mainstream. This is great in the meanwhile. I back up to desktop version for added peace of mind.

I had an old passport drive that met it's maker and I was in the market for a new one. This one has more space, 4TB, than any other drive I have ever owned. It is very fast and I am very happy with the purchase.

This external hard drive backs my Mac up perfectly!!!!!

The My Passport external hard drive is super fast as far as read./write speed and at 4 tb, it can more than handle all of the data that you can throw at it.

I noticed in the store the thumb drives in gb were almost as expensive this 4tb. So I just paid a little more and got a 4 terabyte hard drive instead of gigabytes hard drive. My opinion, it was worth it.

Purchased to back up multiple computers. Great to get 4 TB in such a small package. At some point I might need to reformat for Windows, and I'm concerned about that but in the meantime, it's great.

I have had WD for a while and they are reliable. You cannot beat this price for a 4TB hard drive. It works great with Apple. Definitely worth spending the little extra money for more of the storage.

This is a great amount of storage in a small package. I like that I didn't have to reprogram it for Mac. I did partition it into 3 section (2 time machines, and a manual backup). Great purchase.

I love how compact and aesthetically pleasing this is. Massive storage, and plug and play capability with how portable it is! Have all your stuff with you no matter what MAC you get on.

The my passport for mac is so tiny for a 4tb size unit! No external power required and no formatting if you have a mac. Super fast and reliable, these are my favorite to use year after year.

I have only been using this external drive for two weeks but thus far I have not encountered any problems. It was easy to set it up on my Mac. It is very fast and so far reliable. My last hard drive lasted only one year so I hope this lasts a lot longer

This is an outstanding product. It has a low profile and is very quiet. The product worked out of the box and is easy to remove so I can attach it to another computer.

The harddrive is great as far as speed is concerned. The only negative thing I have to mention (that some of my older WD drives never did) is that the drive seems to get stuck sometimes when my computer goes to sleep. When i go to log back in the drive acts as though it's connected but isnt actually, and I have to force eject then reconnect. Other than that no issues.
