This drive was quick and easy to set up and start using in minutes. Works perfectly as described. I'm using as an external drive as a default location for music and photos on a Mac desktop. I may get another to replace my backup drive at some point.

I bought this to upgrade an older HD I have. 4TB is a great amount for me to back up my files. It’s portable. The cord comes with a tiny, lovely USB C adapter, so I don’t have to worry about carrying a dongle. I bought this in April 2022 and so far haven’t had any issues. My only worry is that with time, this hard drive may stop working compared to an SSD (but those are also more expensive). Only time will tell.

Hard drive is fast and easy to use. Using it to store pics and video. very easy to transfer and view files. will buy again if I end up using all the space.

I remember buying an Iomega Zip Drive that had all of 100mb storage. And now I can get a 4T for not much more money. I have several 2T Passport drives and they all work flawlessly. Low profile and can easily be tied togeher.

Purchased the WD - My Passport for Mac 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Blue because my last external hard drive was not specific for a mac. It was very easy use, just plug in and transfer the data. Also easy to use with the backup software for mac timemachine.

Love this 4TB External Portable drive. I used this to back up my new Apple Macbook 14" M1 laptop and it works like a charm. Affordable, easy to use, and easy to set up.

After an 8-month old competitive product from another supplier suddenly failed in its role as my Mac Mini's primary data external drive, I was able to pick this one up at Best Buy in a few hours. At a slightly lower price and with twice as much capacity as the failed drive, it is a significant upgrade. Fortunately my "Time Machine" on another external drive did allow for restoring nearly all data. As I have only owned this drive for about 4 weeks, I cannot say what it will do long term. But it was and so far continues to be exactly what I needed then and since.

The WD-My Passport for Mac 4TB drive is great. It is easy to set up, use for a backup, as well as transfer photos and important documents into file folders. It is also the perfect size to secure in a safe place. An added feature was the software detected another WD external drive in use, that I was planning to retire, and asked if I wanted to access that drive and transfer the information to My Passport. It was easy to transfer data and I can confidently retire that old WD drive.

Can't say enough good about how easy to use this WC My Passport for Mac is!! Hooked it up, followed the directions and everything was seamless! Backups take only a few minutes. Since my laptop is actually spending most of it's time ON my lap, I keep the WD drive on the lamp table next to me. Every few days, I connect it and WHOOSH, a backup starts, runs, and is done before I know it. Much easier to use than the old hard drive that plugged into the wall. If you have a Mac, this is well worth for the complete ease of use and the incredible speed (not to mention the zippy speed).

WORKS GREAT. THE WD PRODUCT LINE IS WORTH THE MONEY. HAS PLENTY OF SPACE FOR ALL MY AVIATION MANUALS AND PICTURES, AND VIDEOS.

Purchased to partition for long term storage and Time Machine. Working fine so far. Speed is not too bad either.

This portable hard drive is working perfectly. I had no problem transferring my data to it as it was quick and efficient. I do a lot of professional writing and the 4TB is ideal for keeping all my information organized and accessible. I highly recommend this WD 4TB Portable Hard Drive.
