Solid state. WOW what else can I say!

Been able to edit 4k video off this drive which almost seems impossible on most. Would definitely recommend for on-the-go content production and storage.

Ssd drive for Mac suddenly read only

For some reason all of a sudden it became “read only” and to get it to work, you have to pay extra for a paragon upgrade. I spent a lot of money and refute to pay extra to keep it working. After many hours with Wd tech support (they won’t admit it’s a problem) I find many others have this same problem. I have a Mac and using Big Sur. Avoid at all costs if you want this to last awhile.

Excellent location drive

It has been a great drive to copy video and photo content while on location. It has excellent speed to help in tight turnaround and location travel.

Nice SSD drive!

Company does not back up it's product's warrantee

WD again did not honor their warrantee. This is the second WD drive and the same response as before. I cannot recommend a company that does not back up its products.
