lots of storage in a compact easy to use hard drive

Successfully used this product as an external hard drive to store photos to safe guard them and later transfer them to a Mac book that will soon be acquired. I have lost photos in the past when storing on older laptops which got either corrupted or battery died.

I'm not really educated on hard drives and space but I do know that this USB Portable Hard Drive is wonderful. It's large in available space of course, fast export/download time, compatible, and worth the price you pay. Its a relatively steep price but if your working with large file sizes then this is the hard drive for you.

Coincidentally, I bought this some time ago and opened it up today. It is a very good looking drive and SOOOOO slim. It's amazing you can fit 2 tB into that size of drive. It is copying my karaoke library right now. I'm sure it will run great. All my WD drives run great.

Bought this for my samsung z fold 3 and its the best thing I've bought for the phone. I have a lots of my drones videos and i transfer them here, thats all i need. Who needs a laptop?....

I use this as a network backup drive, and it works seamlessly. Very easy to install, uses only power from a USB 3.0. Amazing, compared to my prior drive.

My upgrade to Windows 11 is faster and more options. I am working to learn maximum capability.

Works Great! I use it with two computer and it works well with both. I can take it where ever I got and share photo's with friends without taking my computer with me.

This is easy to use--just plug it in. It connects via a USB C connector, so if your laptop doesn't have such a connection, you'll need an adapter.

i was somewhat afraid of buying this slim and looking fragile tech item. my previous portable hard drive failed me several times and lost me 8gb of games and time to download them. but this one has worked fine so far except it gets hot while using it. i dont know if it would fail later but so far so good

This a good external usb with a lot of memory, ideal for what I was looking for

The 2 TB drive I ordered was lost in shipping, Instead of reordering that drive, I decided to get the 4 TB drive, which I'm sure is identical in every other way. I'm very happy with the drive. It looks great, no sharp edges, fits in the same carrying case I used for my old Passport drive. Really like the USB C.

WD products are always incomparable with their quality and price.

I got this external drive in particular because of it's metal housing, which unfortunately feels a bit thinner than I'd like. However, in spite of that, it's still well made, fast, and so far reliable. The companion software for managing a drive password as well as cloud services is quite nice as well.
