Bought it when I purchased my new MacBook Pro. Haven’t used it yet. But I do have another one that I use so I am very familiar with it. The build quality is nice and 2 tb is more than I will ever need. Glad I got it.

Great little portable hard drive I used to store and transfer all my pictures music and miscellaneous files from my old laptop to my new one.

I have used WD drives almost always, hence this purchase. I like the compact design and 3.0 speed. Not the smallest drive, but was very easy to pack in the camera stuff bag for an overseas trip. It is also a very durable unit and withstood the banging around during my travels.

I have backed up the information from my computer and so far so good!

I have a total of 3 of these I have bought over the years for data backup, recovery and storage. Have them all, but needed a new one with my new computer and wanted one with lots of storage for business and personal files. Have never had any problems with this brand.

I’ve used WD hard drives for over 25 years and am satisfied with its reliability. Wish they had not dropped the warranty from 7 years to 3 years. That seems to tell me WD changed something inside to make it fail more often to sell more units. Or is it because it’s made in China?

This is a great portable hard drive for a great price. It has been reliable so far and very easy to use. Only thing I don't care for, is the software it make you download before you can use it.

Works well with my MacBook . I use this for extra storage for photos and many other things I like to save. Works very well for my intended purpose.

Easy to use and it has worked great so far. I like that it has the USB-C connection so it works with my new laptop. I've had several My Passport drives over the years and have been happy with every one of them. Good solid product

I always have good results with WD portable hard drives. This one seems fairly quick, and a great value for the cost. And a 3 year warranty. So far, about 4 WD passports I use for backup have not failed after owning some of them for over 5 years.

I use this portable hard drive on my 2022 MacBook Air M2 chip as a Time Machine Backup. Transfer speeds are fast and it works flawlessly!

The newer style of USB connector really makes a difference. The previous USB connector would cause the device to become disconnected if you bumped it a bit. So this is a step up.

Works great for added storage for the xboxonex, which is what we used it for.

Saved so much storage, highly recommend especially for Mac users
