Great product! Bought it at a great deal in store and it's worth the money.

Great amount of storage. If your using to store videos photos and such it’s great. Will hold and run video games but will add a little bit of load time. But for the price no complaints.

I am a LOYAL Western Digital Customer going WAAAAAAYYYYY BACK to the late 1980's and early 1990's to present day. That said, I MUST QUALIFY, QUANTIFY, and CLARIFY the 'WHY' on this.... (Because I AM NOT a biased Customer on 'Name Brand' ALONE!) Going back as far as I have mentioned, above, a MAJOR Competitor bought Connor, bought Quantum, and others. THEN that Competitor KILLED OFF ALL of those brands' 'QA Departments'... Consequently KILLING the QUALITY of those Drives! (I'm SURE that by mentioning the 'Acquisitioned' Brands that MOST Techies here KNOW whom and what MAJOR Competitor that I speak of.... So, I've sworn by the CONTINUED QUALITY of the Western Digital Hard Drives, (both Internal AND External), and HIGHLY recommend these Drives. NOW, as to the NEW Software of Acronis 'Backup' Utilities NOW INCLUDED, (INSTEAD of Updating the original WD Backup Software Package), with the MyPassport Ultra Drives; I MUST acknowledge my DISPLEASURE in including such a product that LIMITS Support upon purchase of this Drive for ONLY '5-Years'... THEN Acronis states in the Purchase Agreement and Install Agreement that this WILL be the case, AND THEN the Customer MUST Purchase a NEW and SEPARATE piece of Acronis Backup Software to continue usage.... This seems COUNTERINTUITIVE to the WD Model of Customer Support. (I SINCERELY HOPE that a Western Digital VP or Senior IT Support Rep sees this and makes a move to REINSTATE and then UPDATE the ORIGINAL WD Backup Utility Software for ALL MyPassport Drives....) As to the Drive itself; again, it is of SOLID CONSTRUCTION, and the Installation Utility Software works quick and easy and the drive is recognized by both Windows and MacOS. (Utilizing, (of course), the appropriate and respective OS Installer INCLUDED with the Drive Unit.) As always, ymmv. BUT, I still swear by the WD Products. Manufacturer's Warranty, (of course, Western Digital), IS STILL a FULL 3-Yr Warranty by WD - WITH Registration of said Drive through the WD Installer Utility. (EASY Registration Process - WEB ACCESS REQUIRED; as always.) <-- Former IT Technician Professional - 26+ Years Experience.

I bought this to store all my kids’ photos and any important documents. I’m amazed by the physical size of this thing and how much it can hold. It’s very light weight and easy to store. It’s only about the size of my iphone and can hold many files. So far, it’s hasn’t given me any problems. File transfer speed is quick and very easy to use.

Reasably priced for its storage capacity and not too difficult to progam with the software provided. Lots of options on how and when to back up entire system. Small and light if you want to carry it with you, And I can remeber when I was glad to have a couple of kilobytes available!

Small and compact does not take up a lot of space and easy to use

HUGE improvement to our very large backup drives. Super simple to use and though I keep it in a fire-safe, it is very durable and is easily portable. I still allow my computer to be backed up to the cloud since I don't think there is away around that when using Microsoft apps, but I like the security of knowing my critical files are mine and I can access them with or without internet service. 2TB is A LOT of storage!

This is a really neat and inexpensive item that has such great value!! It is helping me have peace of mind when backing up important documents and files like never before. I am not one to trust in cyberspace products like iCloud, etc. to save my products, plus I do not trust these sources to keep my information confidential and secure. Having this External Portable Hard Drive provides me with the utmost security, safety, and confidence in storing important information, with easy access to it whenever it is needed! It also has a great amount of storage space, so that I can confidently store as much information and data as I'll ever need. I am thrilled with this product!!

Great product, easy to use and just the right size. The drive holds plenty of items and easy to upload or download. If you need a portable HD I would highly recommend this one for your needs.

If you want a portable and lightweight external hard drive, this is for you. I bought this specifically for the USB-C port which is compatible with my laptop. This also comes with a USB 3.0 adapter which is nice. There is also no need to manually eject like other hard drives. If you right-click to select "eject", there is no option for that. You can just remove the hard drive without worrying about accidentally forgetting to eject, making things more convenient.

It's relatively small size and rubber feet are great additions to the 2TB storage. It is a spinning disk, but was moving data fast enough to keep me satisfied. SW that comes with it is not intuitive, IMO. Using it as an oversized thumb drive works just fine.

Works great, easy to set up. The 2tb capacity is as much as I need right now with plenty of extra storage as I need it.

Easy to set up. Good price. No complaints. Also slim profile

Purchased as secondary backup storage. It was fast and slender, (read compact), but I've used it when traveling and it is exceptionally light weight.
