I had this same line of HDs from Western Digital for a few years. I use them for weekly back ups. I’d dropped one of the original drives which crashed the head on the drive rendering it useless (another reason for multiple backups). In doing so, I had already decided to buy the exact same drive only to find out that they are now even smaller, and lighter! Same reliability and ease of use. Just smaller, lighter, and easier to store away more of them. Another win for Western Digital.

I travel considerably so each OZ counts. This hard drive is light weight and performs wonderfully. It is also very compact for a 3 T drive.

Perfect for backing up our company books. WD is always my go to for storage that won’t degrade

It just needs to install the software for Mac after that it is pretty easy to use— works fast and has a quick response. It is also pretty lightweight so easy to carry around.

I was traveling and needed to transfer information from another person’s computer- this was fast, easy and had plenty of storage. In fact, the person from whom I copied the info bought one after she saw how I used mine!

Great addition to our laptop as we use it to backup all of our pictures from multiple computer & cell phones. Quick and easy to use - a must-have if you want to save valuable information. Very compact and easy to transport and/or connect to other computers. Will probably purchase another one so I have a backup device for my desktop computer!

I went to BestBuy many times to fix my annoying techs that doesn’t like to work lol I’m so happy to bought this hard drive & at least transferred half of my millions pics. Glad the employees directed me what to do with my laptop too.

I have about a zillion pictures and they all fit, and I have a lot more room to add other files I don't need to keep on my computer.

A little light in weight in my opinion. It has that flimsy feeling. I had to reformat it because this is NOT compatible with Mac. Make sure you are aware of that. And the compatibility program or app they offer is too complicated.

Well made, easy to install, large storage capacity, fair price compared to competitors.
